I've found several clips from that conversation with Joker after the Geth consensus mission. That part of the conversation we're looking for is missing in all of them, so far.

I'm 100% certain I got that bit of dialogue on all of my playthroughs until now.

I've heard it too. Not sure what's going on. Hey, what if you have to do a newgame+ or something similar?

But seriously, what the hell is that? I don't remember hearing that ONCE in the dreams, and I've played through the game three times now. I would've picked up on that right away had I heard it!

It does kinda sound like a heavily distorted version of the child's laugh, but that is me openly guessing.

That's a very interesting thought. I may look at it later with audacity, for whatever good that'll do. I swear I've heard it, or parts of it, before ingame though.

You would hear them if you stopped right next to the child on the second dream without triggering the cutscene (when the shadows have surrounded the child). They are all over third dream too but that stops so abruptly.

Use headphones too.

Agreed, it's far, far scarier to listen to the stuff from the dreams than to actually play through them.

Question... what does the kid say in the beginning between "...help me" and "everyone's dying"? I can't make it out, but I thought the only lines from the kid in the beginning were "Everyone's dying" and "you can't help me." That middle line sounds like neither.

Yes I can hear it too!

And now viewing it, I can definitely hear some of those Reaperish sounds from the first video. This is Amazing! You can distinctly hear Reaper voices!

And at 8:00 it sounds definitely like a certain Reaper...
