But were those sounds actually in any of the dreams?

If you're watching this one, the uploader is actually playing the dream part real time. It's not all the same sounds, but HOLY CRAP does it get creepy after 8 minutes of standing near the kid!

Wow that's creepy.

@Pax please learn how to use the edit button!

Yeah. The dreams were freaking scary during my first playthrough.

I attempted beating the Guinness World Record in the most posts posted in a row on BSN. Unsuccessful, I'm afraid. Posted Image

Agreed, and I think the EC also leaves players who may/may not come back for other DLC emotionally content with how their stories ended. I could see how the original endings might have been intended to draw the player base back for DLC, but I don't think BW anticipated the anger. The EC does give closure to the "endings" but not the "Ending" -- in other words, it gives us the ramifications of our red-green-blue choices, but it does nothing to answer moments of strangeness that triggered the IT in the first place.

Krimzie, have you seen my Wall of Text relating to the end? You might like it.

Guys, i thing that these sounds 100% prove that the dreams have everything to do with the reapers, and combined with Shepard's VA doing the lines for the catalyst, and everything else - that proves the IT. And we've known it long already. Like from before the leviathan time. IT is proven, and it is not a meme.

Playing devil's advocate here:
In literal view, Shepard is just having dreams of Reapers, thus the Reaper noise...

Yeah, the 8 minute mark definitely sounds like Harbinger. Maybe even recorded especially for the dreams!!!

Yet it is a mystery why you don't do it if you still want to, given that you actually can do just that right this instant.

I wish that were true. Unfortunately it is only evidence. Very good and solid evidence, but not proof.

Only when it is undeniable that IT is true will IT be finally proven. As shown that BioWare will not fess up and give the truth, we can only hope they will finally prove it in their future content. However it cannot be in hints as we have been given in Leviathan. The only content that can undeniably prove IT true (or false) is in an Epilogue DLC. Only then will this "war" be over. (Fingers crossed for an IT DLC...)

Let's call it face value POV then. You know what I meant.
I am just pointing out that it is no definitive proof, but supporting evidence.

QFT. In a series in which the ME1 defintion of Reaper indoctrination indicates hallucinations and whispers as symptoms, the presence of a dream containing Reaper noise being anything OTHER than indoctrination-related is questionable.

Am I missing something here? We simply don't see what happens afterwards. The last scene is merely the result of choosing Refuse. Presumably, Organics tried to defeat the Reapers conventionally and they failed at large.

Shepard is being indoctrinated at the end in both the literal and IT views.

You know what happens to people who have dreams about reapers? They go through the process of indoctrination. Time after time in the series it has been shown to the player that is what happens. Not one case of where someone dreams about Reapers hasn't been indoctrinated.

That's only the case, if you assume that the Stargazer Scene is to be taken literally.
Again, promoting the poll.

Lol, no need to convince me here. I was just trying to reason like a literalist.
Man, it really has to be frustrating to be a literalist, you have only clueless crap to support a literal view..
