Team, did we kill the thread? Why is it that everyone seems to leave at once?

I'd like Anders more if he had stayed like he was in Awakening. He's far too serious in DA2.
Also, his desire to break away from the Chantry kind of came out of nowhere. He was against it in Awakening.
Didn't you pay attention to the story? He picked synthesis with Justice. Synthesis always goes bad. Always.

Oh right. I stopped paying attention to DA2's story after the first time I beat it. Its better that way.
Its too bad though, because in Awakening, I liked both Justice and Anders, but I dont like DA2s Anders/Vengeance thing.

He was also asked about what genre it was and he replied Fantasy. So it's really something new, as in different from ME.

Maybe he's doing music for Synthesis.

But...but....Legion picked synthesis! And the following peaced between the quarians and the geth can be desrcibed as synthesis...

"BTW, I'm not saying the entire DLC soundtrack is feels-invoking. Just that one particular piece. The rest.. will be a mystery.
The above is ME related.

Yeah, ditto. But I do love his "KILL ALL OF THE TEMPLARS" attitude.

Looking at it wrong. The Reapers picked control, and it backfired.
But hey, if the Reapers couldn't manage control on the geth, I'm sure Shepard can manage control on the Reapers. <cough>

Phew! That was a doozy. But really interesting, especially because you took the EC from a non-interpretive/non-IT stance. You really pointed out how many more questions the EC creates than it answers. The part about synthesis and what does/doesn't become sentient is really strange because you'd think that, if the ending were to be taken literally, the writers would've figured out how it works instead of spotlighting the utopia of it all -- utopia never equals truth in science fiction.
And the part about the slides always gets me. Who came up with those choices? And the Coates excessiveness is creepy. Your comment about Hackett's epilogue and how he doesn't mention ANYONE that should be mentioned is sticking in my brain -- it's almost as if the exact epilogue could still be used as the ending epilogue even if IT is revealed. It's generic. It embraces every outcome. The slides are the only moveable parts.
Really good stuff. I recommend others read it!

Thanks a lot! I was also thinking the existing destroy epilogue could be used for an IT reveal. I didn't mention it because, well, I didn't mention IT stuff.Krimzie wrote...

I always did LotSB as soon as possible for the eqipment and material shipments.paxxton wrote...
What's the best part of ME2 to do Overlord and LotSB?
And Overlord always after the suicide mission (more roleplaying there, always take Miranda and Jacob with me to show them what their boss really is like).

Overlord makes more sense to do before the Suicide Mission, and LotSB makes more sense to do after.
Mostly because the paragon path in overlord has Shepard mentioning that if TIM doesnt like what she did, he can fire her, when if you've destroyed the Collector base, you already quit, and LotSB has some dialogue that changes after the suicide mission is completed.

I do Overlord right before the Derelict Reaper mission because you can only do one mission after: Legion's. I do LOTSB and Arrival after the suicide mission in that order, because LOTSB is unrelated to the main plot and Arrival is the end of ME2, so...paxxton wrote...

Not actually true. You can do at least two missions after the derelict Reaper. I know this because I always wait to do Tali's loyalty mission until I have Legion, because its fun bringing him along.

Sheptroll. All worth it for this line.
Quarian: How about you step aside and we call it scrap metal?
Legion: Our exterior shell is 72% polymer.
The quarians also remember it in ME3. If they never met Legion, when they see him they freak. "What the hell is this?!" If they have, "I see you brought your geth friend."

What?I thought you could only do one. According to a thread I found, Legion's is free. So, you can do both Legion's and Tali's loyalty missions after the IFF?
Yup. Like I said, thats what I always do, and I've beaten ME2 like 30 times, so it wasnt just a one time fluke or anything.
