Why people say that the third dream did not end? I just wtched it and it seemed to have a very clear end point - Shepard clearly wakes up from a dream - not like the second one where he is awake looking at some datapad.

Have you ever had a dream where you think you've woken up, gotten up and did stuff...and then woke up for real later on?  And have you later reflected how real it seemed, even though it was surreal and details were all wrong?

Yeah, it's like a virus. In the beginning there were many but weak and less persistent, but now they've evolved so only the no-lifer, persistent trolls exist to bother us.

A good analogy.  What we're dealing with now is the troll equivalent of MRSA.  Anyone got any vancomycin handy?

If only Paxxton had washed his hands this wouldn't have spread!

It wasn't me. I wash my hands leaving the toilet. But Samara offers a cure for troll infestation.

Does anyone else find Big Bang Theory to be really overrated...but you just have to watch it because you've already watched every other episode?

Is the Big Bang Theory actually overrated? Literally all I ever see people on the internet say about it is a bad show.

I personally like it though.

Yes! Sometimes I can't recall what really happened and what was a dream.

And I'm not just saying this to agree, this has occurred for me before. Sometimes I'll think: "I could've sworn that happened. I don't know if I was dreaming or not."

That is an amazing show. And the physics properties are also spot on in the show too!

Anyone noticed that TIM's music theme has a melancholic motive? As if something was slipping away, like TIM's real self. He's losing himself in Indoctrination.

I find it to be overrated.  Nothing else.

I assumed it was a typical Chuck Lorre show with vapid humor, bland stereotypes, and obnoxiously implemented canned laughter until I actually sat down and watched an episode. My assumptions couldn't have been more correct.

I guess I'm just easily pleased. I dont watch TV shows for high art. I watch them to maybe get a few laughs and eat up a half hour.

Ok. Interesting things - this is about cronos. (and sanctuary).

First - both these missions have an echo - as in everyline of dialog that is spoken has an echo underlay.

Second - when vendetta tells you about the citadel being the catalyst - there is an underlay of second prothean dialoge, that is distortorted and broken down, as if it is being jammed - and it doesn't match what is being said at all - so it is not an echo. (there is an echo, but it isn't that) - and it even continues after Vendetta finishes his sentance.

But that is beside the point - second - the human reaper thing - it activly emits noice infrasound, and buzzing sounds.
And the best part - all of them have an echo too.
there is even a point where if you stand right in front of the heart - so you get into the beam - it blocks out everything else completely.

Demersel, you are hereby charged with the murder of the Indoctrination Theory thread. How do you plead?

No, but seriously, where did everyone go?

Edit: Well, at least Byne's here. I guess i should have refreshed the page before posting. :P

So, I just had a hunch. Could one of the dataminers check to see what music plays during Shepard's encounter with the kid when he's in the vent?

Here it is. A piano-only version of An End, Once And For All. Note that because it's not an officially released track, it has no official title.

Hmmm... That is an... Uneasy piece. It sounds like 2 songs are going at once. It's too overwhelming for me to enjoy.

It's beautiful, but it is uneasy... that octave span at the end is weird, as are the moments of complete dissonance. Creepy!

Unrelated, but you know what I was thinking about... the leaked script parts dorktainian posted of the TIM confrontation and the choices the Crucible offers. If the Reapers are truly controlling TIM, puppeting him to their will, then their endgoal must be to get Shepard to eventually think "the Illusive Man was right after all," right? In other words, to pick Control. "I wish you could see it as I see it," or even trying to denounce Anderson's opinion as the shortsighted goals of an old solider... all sound like things the Reaper Overloard would say.

But I'm also thinking about how the leaked script points out that TIM sounds more and more illogical right before saying that the Crucible is a bomb -- but wait! It can also control the Reapers! I mentioned this in a post that got lost in the flood, but that little line like there -- even if this script wasn't used -- shows that the choices are intentionally illogical. Perhaps intially, Shepard was only projecting what TIM told her. Except for that pesky synthesis option... I can never work that in... I still think it's probably a Matrix, though.

I dunno. Fever babbling, waaaah make them stop. /whinylittlegirl

EDIT: OH GOD THE TYPOS, kill them with fire.

If you got the CE of ME3, in one of the books about the making of the game, the chapter on the endings is called "The Perfect Illusion" so they surely must have had a reason to call it that!  TIM is so out of charecter in the desicion chamber that it doesn't seem possible. Before confrontation: "I'm not looking for your approval." After confrontation: "I need you to believe." He acts very suspicious.

I have to go. It's 11:10 P.M and I neede sleep.:P
