Guys I just remembered. Earth has both concret and Metal right. Citadle has only Metal, because I hardly think there is any concret in the Catalyst chambers, as well as the Citadle. Yet Earth has both. So in a way if people say it's on the citadle because of the metal they see, then they should know that Earth has metal to/ concret. People say it's concret, or Metal, but what if it's both.

That picture I see up top the Meg, and Dor were talking about. If you look at the surfice texture, it looks just like the texture you see in the breath scene. Not talking about the edges Meg, but the flat surface it's self.

I know that, but this same texture is also used in the room with your choice.

What I meant was the difference is created by fans. If you are in the process of indoctrination you are indoctrinated. There is no way around making bad decisions that help the Reapers. How much they can influence is an ongoing thing, but not that they are able to do so.

I think I'm getting what you're saying. So would it be analogous to "inception" where the reapers implant a suggestion and make you believe that you thought of it? Over time (which varries from person to person) more suggestions are implanted and the target looses more and more of their own mental faculties in the process?

That's how I always thought indoctrination worked... And all the whispering/dreams/halucinations were side-effects of all that.

Basically yes. Also they don't even need to introduce an idea but can as easily modify the bodies hormones and neurotransmitters, like Adrenaline, to not just be easily influenced but to think slightly different than they would otherwise. With that easy modification they can stop the victim from warning others and even lure them in a trap without the victim even knowing.

Reapers have access to Shepard's mind
Reapers can influence memories
Reapers are ****ing evil
Reapers indoctrinate even whilst "dead"

Let's keep Reapers alive...? Nope, let's DESTROY them

Just skimmed the last few pages and saw Megumi denying their was an indoctrination process.

The codex wrote...

Organics undergoing indoctrination may complain of headaches and buzzing or ringing in their ears.

Seems like that indicates a process to me.

At that point you are already unable to do anything without peer review by the Reapers.

It isn't even a necessary step but you treat it as the first sign, ignoring that there is nothing to suggest that the first sign even has to show up from the moment it starts. Headaches are a sign of change, meaning they are already influencing and changing your brains chemistry. As a result you already do things you wouldn't do otherwise.

I was always under the impression that the process of indoctrination started with the Reapers manipulating your mind until it was ready to accept suggestions (the humming, etc.), then once they could actually fully influence your actions instead of just manipulating your brain.

The buildings on the Citadel are made by the races, and there is nothing suggesting a different material from what they usually use. The "concrete" and rebar is even used and seen on multiple planets.

You don't need to have the process finished to take control. Just stimulate it in the right areas and you're set. They don't need full and direct control for you being indoctrinated.

But there aren't any buildings nearby, and how is Shepard supposed to survive if the concrete flies from somewhere on the Citadel directly on him. Not even considering the explosion that would be needed.
No way Shep could survive that explosions if he was on the Citadel.

Yep, it seems we're still having to defend the same old stuff time and time again.

Attention everyone: unless there's something new to be discussed regarding well established topics like "Where is the breath scene?", please ignore attempts to talk about them, as they will only cause pointless arguments.

ok then now for the  big question.

When shep is staggering through the 'citadel' he goes past several structures on an as yet undiscovered part of the citadel.....  including areas of the citadel apparently 'changing' for some unknown reason.  on his way 'up the ramp' there are clearly 'human' structures on a part of the citadel that no living creature (apart from the keepers) has (as far as we know because he is 'underneath' the presidium tower in a secret chamber) ever visited.  How did it get there?  There is no way any human has been there before (unless they are corpses) so what gives then?
