Slow patient indoctrination is always about choice. Without choice its just plain mind control.
lol that's pretty much what it is, mind control. It just works in more subtle ways by playing on your characteristics. Kind of like desire demons in Dragon Age.

If this was true
he would be standing in front of the beam
not behind it

he stood behind the beam to have it in his field of vision so he can see if anyone got really close. If he stood in front of it, some sneaky ninjas will just walk underneath him to get to it.cavs25 wrote...

Apperently.
You'd think the Conduit would actually be defended by ground troops. Like, an entire company of Marauders with Brutes and Banshees. Not three Husks and a single (injured) Marauder.

This is why tanks need infantry support in urban warfare. Or why Reapers fly in formation.
Instead, Harbinger takes a bunch of Reapers with him to Earth... And then decides "nah, I'm solo'ing this one!" and lands all by himself. And doesn't call in every Husk soldier in the city to his position to support him.
Or leave any Reaper troops AT ALL on the Citadel.
...yeah.

You have a point there. Why were there no Reaper forces on the Citadel? Were they hoping the indoctrinated TIM be enough to stop anyone who could make it to the Citadel?

Even if so the dozen or so Reapers bearing down on the normandy the moment if gives away its position through scanning should show clearly the Reapers dont have any trouble detecting the nromandy once they know it is there.
Also if the IFF truly made the Normandy invisible I think the Salarians (who have made Stealth Dreadnoughts using the IFF) would have noticed at some point. I mean it would be pretty obviuos if a Reaper is shooting at anything but the massive Dreadnought in a space battle.

Why would they send people up less than 100 meters (in a straight line no less) from the main controls (who are not where we last saw them) when there is 18 km of Space Station to use. Imagine if Shepard had come up at the tip of one of the wards, he would have bleeded out long before reaching the control panel.

Or, imagine if Shepard ended up at the master control for the Citadel inside the Citadel tower. You know, the one at the end of ME1 that Saren used to close the arms around Sovereign.
