I think the idea MB is referring to is one proposed by TurboJ several pages ago about the decision chamber being a big test of Leviathan's for Shepard to prove their readiness for its assistance in the real fight. Or something. I'd really like to re-read that concept again as it was pretty cool.

That seems sort of out of place at the end though. However, in the DLC, Leviathan could provide you with a similar test to ensure you have your priorities straight. If you choose wrong he may not join you or you have to use a Charm/Intimidate option.

Should be interesting to see Shep intimidating an ancient-super-giant Reaper B)

But yeah, the idea is great

I mean the blue/red dialogue options. I suppose they aren't as properly named for ME3 dialogue as they were in ME1&2.

Maybe use those options to convince Levy (totally calling him that) to see your side a little better if you choose, say, Cyborgifica-- I mean Synthesis.

I just saying Leviathan could be testing Shepard because if Shepard goes on the Citadel, he won't realize if he/she is seeing things/what is real, and what is not.

In other words Leviathan is playing the bad guy and is trying to foul Shepard into agreeing with the reapers, and his trusting Shepard to kill the Reapers no matter what the cost are.

Also didn't Leviathan get into Shepard's mind? Since it was in the files that TSA found, and we don't know when it is going to happen, since like in trailers some diolague is out of place. Just saying it could be a possiblility.

I'd quite enjoy talking Harbinger into shooting himself in the head.

Shepard enjoys the sight of Reapers on their tentacles..ahem..

Weren't we discussing awhile ago some of the possible overlay parallels that could crop up in Leviathan? Maybe there will be some sort of test but it occurs before the end and foreshadows the encounter with the Catalyst, giving us yet more reasons not to trust it. Feels like somebody else has said this before, apologies for stealing ideas if that's the case.

I'm sure Leviathan will be exerting some influence on Shepard simply because he is in its presence. Although, I'm sure Leviathan will just want Shepard to go the fudge away. This may give us a taste of the indoctrination process that makes the crap in the ending more obvious.

Yeah, that's sort of what I was saying earlier. It would be an excellent plot device and would endow in the player more caution regarding the Catalyst.

From the way the script is arranged it seems to happen when you first meet it.
Expect some surreal **** when you first encounter Leviathan

Won't that mean the game will now include TWO occasions of Shepard entering an unreal world before the ending that is totally real, honest.

This will seem a bit out of place, but I was wondering if indoctrination should have worked like the mr.gold thing in the movie revolver, where he's the inner monolouge you have and your ego, and the only way to beat him is to overcome his influence.

Here is a link to the clip where stathom's character greene overcomes the thing controling his actions, would this have been cool if shepard had to break indoctrination like this?

Like the player playing well Shepard and harby playing the ego aspect thingy ....

I think it would have been more than harbinger playing the ego if they made the ending like this. I know I remember multiple people saying they felt as if the final confrontation with Anderson and TIM was Shepard's mind in turmoil. Has anyone done a write up on this?
