I'd guess using the inside of a cerberus shuttle was convenience. There are plenty of things than can be considered laziness, convenience or whatever. I still get annoyed when someone says it is when it clearly isn't though. Like people calling Coates' corpse 'laziness' when it would've taken EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT OF EFFORT TO USE ANOTHER SOLDIER. Wow I keep raging today, sorry.

Btw, TJ, am I remembering it wrong but a few days ago you said that the change in shuttles was a mere asset reuse and dev oversight? Why the change?

I said it could be. Thinking about it later I was trying to figure out what it could mean if it was meant to be there. So I wrote down what I thought. It still could be mere asset reuse but really...having 2 Cerberus logos in a level with no Cerberus is a little strange...

Yeah, it's strange and I just remembered you said that making asset reuse so obvious is fishy when it comes to BioWare known for its attention to detail.

Overlord used synthesis as a means of control. Destroying the place was considered the paragon route.

Yup.

Yup. The other reason might be that all those changes are also meant for the player. They are subtle not to give IT away too easily. Their brains might actually pick up all of them on a subconscious level.

You know, the IT reminds me a lot of a "star trek: Deep Space 9" episode I once watched...

It actually reminds me of a Farscape episode, which is why I thought it was funny one of the people in the original thread who thought there was no chance of this whatsoever had a Farscape avatar.

I'm sure TIM loved that "Crackers Don't Matter" episode.

It remembered me of Archangel recruit mission in ME2. He shots at you if you're in the open, but only dropping your shields with stun shots, and he admits that when you reach him. The rest of the mercs that stand in the open are killed to the last.

This is worth repeating! Some people have good ideas and are ignored! It's also more evidence that the end is made from Shep's memories!

So, today's RvB was all about the Higgs Boson, but all I learned was that the Higgs Bison is one of the friendliest species of water buffalo.

Water bison powers, ACTIVATE!

(If you arent a sponsor, that joke will make sense in about 2 hours. If you watch RvB that is. If not, it will never make sense.)

It was pretty funny.

You know I always found it funny that in the Destroy ending, weather or not it's high or low Hackett does not mention anything about Shepard, but in the Control/Synthesis they do. Also in refuse Liara does not even mention Shepard, who she herself wanted to put Shepard in the time capsule if they failed. So it's wither Bioware forgot to add that, or Liara did not mention Shepard at all.

This is very odd indeed. "Hey Shepard I'ma put you in this time capsule in case we fail."

Another thing that got me was the transmission from Admiral Hackett in the Normandy. On a closer look it looks like his scar is on the WRONG SIDE. But wait. We know that his scar is on the right side of his face not on his left. So...wha?? Transmissions don't work like mirrors...

Also that's not normal interference. It can't be. Bad radio doesn't stutter like that, it just crackles out. How did Hackett know Liara was on Mars researching the prothean archives, that she found something there, and conclude that it was the only way to stop the reapers when he was having trouble communicating with the Normandy? Wouldn't getting through to Mars be even harder?

"found a way to stop the reapers. Only way to stop them"

Decisive words for someone with a crap radio when no one even knew what the Crucible did even during the final assault on Earth.

Combine this find with the hypothesis that glyph is a reaper VI that has been indoctrinating Liara. Implications, unpleasant.

What if Hackett is the one indoctrinated, wasn't the Shadow-broker trying to keep tabs on him?

Guessing who is indoctrinated is like trying to figure out who is a cylon in BSG, everyone can play!

SB keeps tabs on all high ranking people. He has some resolve for someone being indoctrinated. He also has much, much less exposure to reaper tech than Anderson. My point is it's not impossible, but a lot less likely than say, Anderson being indoctrinated. And more importantly:

Creepiest birthday smile ever. And I agree, Anderson has been in the thick of things on Earth for a lengthy period of time, it would be hard for him NOT to be indoctrinated or at least decently exposed (primed, if you will, and ready to be indoctrinated).

I just remember all sorts of crazy theories about Hackett after Arrival first came out.
