That is one of my favourite movies ever! Of all time!

Mine too! And the quote is quite correct. There's not quite the amount of guns in small villages as it shows, but it really is much worse than people think it is.

Let's hope my town never arms itself on a large scale, because it's basically Sandford already Posted Image

guys the new Citadel DLC has to be The IT because what other reason would there be to make a random DLC for The Citadel???? have we not spent enough time there already throughout all three games??? This one has to be the big reveal all of us have been waiting for leading us into ME4 ya know????

Well, it could be that rumoured Keeper-related DLC, but I still agree with you, mainly because they have all the writers (eight or nine) and main composer Sam Hulick working on it!

Maybe a random Keeper discovers Shepard's body and rescues him, that would be pretty sweet to be honest I could totally see that happening it would probably make the most sense because The Keepers are the only ones on the Citadel at all times and everywhere for that matter.

...

The recent film of "Get Smart" has as much to do with the actual, funny series, as Superman does in Superman returns.

Well luckily my lack of experience of the series meant I was able to enjoy the film, so there's that.

Unlike Superman Returns, the sucky pile of suck.

Also Man of Steel looks waaaay too angsty from the trailer, so Superman probably wont be recovering anytime soon.

@ Arian. Congratulations on the A grade. I'd forgotten about the "Selfish Meme" idea. I wonder if SimonSays will pop back into the thread when the new dlc comes out.

If you can get past the fact that it's anime, some Anime has really good stories, like Code Geass, Eureka Seven, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, etc...

I've not been exposed to much anime, but I've enjoyed some of Studio Ghibli's stuff. Particularly Howl's Moving Castle. Lovely artwork and just the right amount of whimsicality.

I'm really not keen on some of the hyper violent, sexualised stuff though. I once watched a documentary about animation and they showed a brief clip of what I think is called "Hentai"?

I wish I could unsee that stuff. If only Brain Bleach was a real product.

Nothing I mentioned is even remotely hentai. You can watch all kinds of good anime and avoid hentai completely. It's its own animal.

That's good to know. I might give Coboy Bebop a go. I generally prefer science fiction to fantasy - LotR and Baldur's Gate excepted. Just so long as there's no excessively "equipped" demons with amorous intentions I'll be fine.

Speaking of Baldur's Gate builds - Dual class Human Ranger Cleric. 10 levels of Ranger gives you hp, a favoured enemy and stealth, then go Cleric. You get all the Druid and Cleric spells and can dual wield Crom Fare in one hand and the Flail of Ages in the other to give you 25 strength and tons of elemental damage. He was like freaking Sauron - made short work even of the Demon Prince.

Carrel has no right replacing the voice of the original Inspector Gadget.

Had a tought: Stargazer is BioWare, Kid is us

Kid: Did that all really happen?
Did that happen in reality?
Buzz: Yes, but some of the details have been lost in time.
Acutally, we can't tell you.
It all happened so very long ago.
We're trying to tell a story.
Kid: When can I go to the stars?
Shouldn't we find out?
Buzz: One day my sweet.
One day.
Kid: What will be there?
What will we find?
Buzz: Anything you can imagine.
Lots of different stories and endings
[...]
And every life is a special story of its own.
Every player will have his/her own personal story.
Kid: Tell me another story about the Shepard.
[in 2013?]Tell us what really happened.
Buzz: It's getting late, but ok... one more story.
It's been a while since release, I think we can tell you now...

Would be funny if that's the actual purpose of the Stargazer Scene ;)

To straighten a few things out;

The vast majority of pornography in Japan is what they call "H" or "ecchi" which we use the Japanese word "Hentai" which can roughly be translated as "Pervert".

The vast majority of it is simple, pedestrian, run of the mill missionary sex, just like everyone else's porn.

The reason for weirder stuff (aside from the usual "whatever turns your crank" thing) is due to a set of Japanese laws (brought down mostly because of WESTERN sensibilities) that means one cannot show genitals in a pornographic video, hence why they resort to things... reminiscent of them. It's also why most of it is animated, as an exception to the laws.

Oh and that whole "panties in vending machines" bit? Yeah, only ever in sex-shops, and exclusively because, once again of Wester sensibilities, since Japanese women didn't WEAR underwear before Perry "invited" them to trade with the US, and thus the expensive undergarments were actually reserved nearly exclusively for high class prostitutes.

As for good Sci-Fi anime, I sugguest Code Geass and Kurogane no Linebarrel (Yes before people ask, I haven't actually watched many, anime is usually something that requires my entire attention to understand the plot, and usually I just watch what I do while doing something else.)

Code Geass is good, though if you embrace the craziness Gurren Lagann is a fantastic anime to watch.

But beyond that Studio Ghibli is a good bet for good anime, personal favorites of mine are Princess Mononoke (my personal favorite movie of all time), Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (sorta the thematic prequell to Monoke, but with a very different setting) and Spirited Away.

Also if you ever get in the mood for something sad, Grave of the Fireflies is a tearjerker.
