Well, it could be that rumoured Keeper-related DLC, but I still agree with you, mainly because they have all the writers (eight or nine) and main composer Sam Hulick working on it!

Has it been confirmed that it is about the citadel?

I hear that. One good side to BW's apparent inability to write a good romance.

That's a girl that lost her arms? I thought it was a kid playing with a parent's shirt. Seriously. See, that's one of the problems with anime. People don't look real. They just overexaggerate a few features, particularly eyes as those set off subconscious "cute" cues, and to hell with other features. Like noses.

Ah, the joy of old episodes of Get Smart.

I'm sad to say I've only seen the film.

...

The recent film of "Get Smart" has as much to do with the actual, funny series, as Superman does in Superman returns.

Still better than Superman III, which was about Richard Prior and computers. A movie in 1983 about computers. Yeah. The end villain was a supercomputer. You might think, "how could that be a problem for Superman?" To this day, I do not ****ing know. It is not a thing I can comprehend. It's particularly baffling when one considers that this was before the Crisis of Infinite Earths. People think Superman nowadays is way too powerful, but pre-crisis Supes makes current Supes look like a giant (slang for female genitalia and cats). Now it's a big thing if Supes breaks the sound barrier. Pre-crisis Supes could break FTL. Current Supes catches planes. Pre-crisis Supes could push planets like they were wicker furniture. How in the name of all things holy and unholy did this guy get his ass beat by a computer? In the history of combat, there has never been a clearer case of someone throwing a fight.

Oh yeah, and the evil computer grabbed some woman and huskified her ass and assumed direct control. Seriously. Even in Superman III, where up is down and black is white, synthesis still sucks.

... What were we talking about again?

Arian Dynas wrote...

Ayup, but that's no reason to feel bad.

Yeah, Hellish had some great ideas before... whatever drove him mad. Now he just sits up there with that black cat. Staring. Always with the staring. ... :(

I still think the worst part in any superman film is the first one. He goes back in time to save Lois from an earthquake... and doesn't do anything to stop the earthquake. He just chats with her and it never comes. Maybe his feet were holding the ground together?

Oh God the turning back time thing! Because that's totally dependent on the direction of a planet's rotation. If we were on Venus we'd all be getting younger now. Well, if we could avoid being crushed, burnt and corroded to death anyway.

I always interpreted it as him travelling back in time so it never bothered me. It's just how he doesn't do what he went back for is a plot hole that has bothered me since I first saw it many years ago.

@Rif: Yeah I love that site. He really, really hated Jimmy in the silver age.

More importantly, has it been cofirmed to be about IT? If wishes were horses all ITers would be driving big ass V12s (or something with lots of horses)...

As well as synthesis, 3 also has a (presumably) metaphorical battle between Clark and Superman, which is mildly relevant. If only TIM had thought to throw Shepard in a trash compactor.

Also no, no details about the DLC are confirmed and Blur is just bing overzlous as usual.

Would be epic if we could have a final fight between Shepard, The Being of Light a.k.a. Starboy, and an Indoctrinated Reconstructed Monster version of TIM.

After we defeat Starboy his life energy would destroy The Reapers and The Citadel and there could be a scene where Shepard has to make another epic escape with "Monster" TIM in pursuit but ultimately Shepard would escape and TIM would be destroyed when The Citadel explodes.

defeat a crazy AI and then escape from a giant space station as it explodes, sound similar to the end of halo 3 (not really a bad thing Posted Image)

Someone onboard The Normandy could have a Empire Strikes Back Cloud City Luke Leia moment and know Shepard is still alive. They could make Joker turn the Normandy around and go rescue Shepard before The Citadel is destroyed. After rescuing Shepard The Normandy would barely escape the impending explosion by making the FTL jump.

oooooooh yeeeeeeah..........classic, simple, and epic.

Oh man but that is ok, you know how epic that type of ending is???? I would have much preferred that than what we got you have to admit.........Bioware just thought to hard tbh, it should not have been that difficult.

And since Mass Effect as a whole is essentially a series of shout outs to sci-fi throughout the years, and Halo is sci-fi, it would be more fitting than it might seem at first.  Besides, that kind of scene shows up in more than just Halo.

BTW, guys, there is a curious thing in the Final Hours app for Mass Effect 3 - at one point there is a concept art for Vancouver - when everything shiny and well - and you can use your cursor to paint that picture off to reveal the underlaying image of the same art but with Reapers attacking and distruction everywhere.

The thing is - that After the EC - that might make much more interesting sense - that particular concept art really reminds me of the EC slides. What if we could peel off the Illusion and reveal what is there for real? ))) Or what if we're supposed at least to think that way about the EC slides?

If BW were to release another app, sure. But that sounds to videogame-y to me. ;)

Btw, what I meant to post along time ago:
Remember how Bioware argued for those slides? How they all always wanted to imagine how the future might look the more farther you go? Well, to me that translates to: how would someone imagine the future.

I relistened the EC soundtrack. Noticed an interesting thing.

1 - remeber how the breath scene used to have music, but in the EC it doesn't anymore?
Well, that music from the breath scene is in the "We faught as a United Galaxy" track in the EC soundtrack - the one that plays in refuse. The curious part is that that music kicks in in the track after a pause, and it is actually pretty long and cheerful in the end - i'm not sure whether it does play in game that part of that track.

2 - in the EC soundtrack - there is a track called "Resolution" - it plays during the memorial scene and normandy take off in all the endings, except refuse, and you know what? it is a very close reprise of "A future many will never see" - the theme that plays in Destroy.

And Richard Prior makes lots of money through rounding up rounding. Those movies were stupid but epic. Superman I was the first movie in which the character flew horizontal in front of what would later become blue/green screen technology as I recall.
