Yeah, sure. Wait... what? Seriously, how did the conversation end up on those? I genuinely want to know. What could be the catalyst for that conversation?

Please try to not bring this up anymore. People will be hearing about this enough outside of BSN and don't need reminding how f*cked up our world can be.
It was just some stupid people being stupid or people who thought they could be very clever being very provocative tossing around their idea of black humor.
I sure don't want to think about this too much.

They do it a lot in fact. Conrad Verner anyone? His topics about thermal clips and forgetting which questions he already asked.
All the calibration jokes about Garrus, Shepard dancing etc.

Typical pig-ignorant reaction by the likes of Fox News. Every time something like this occurs, out comes the same, tired knee-jerk of blaming games and if it's not games it's Iron Maiden or Judas Priest or Rammstein or whatever the hell cultural phenomenon the right wing press is using as a scapegoat this week. It's certainly a lot easier than confronting the difficult questions of what it is about our societies that allows these kinds of atrocities to happen. Disclaimer: I'm British and left wing in my views, but in no way do I intend this as specifically critical of the US and I think my points apply pretty much anywhere in the world.
And yes, there are studies that show people can be put in a more aggresive state of mind by playing violent games, but so what? Unless you understand what effect other everyday situations have on people's feelings of aggression, and an understanding of whether they are more likely to act on those feelings of aggression, it's a meaningless finding. But hey, since when does the media let little things like facts or evidence or the scientific method or logic get in the way? I doubt that many of the individuals involved have ever gone as far as actually playing ME.

Kind of an interesting answer. Rather clear "no more Shep, his trilogy is done", but the part about being able to imagine some other choices going forward definitely raises an eyebrow. Seems like they're still in the process of deciding the basics of ME4.
It's interesting though that Mac doesn't outright rule it out and talks about choices going forward. COuld they be really seriously thinking about making ME4 a sequel? smilie
And I guess they wouldn't really need to use save games even if ME4 is a sequel. If they move on further in time like 2000 years, then there would be only a handful of choices with that long-lasting consequences (endings, Genophage, Rachni, Rannoch). Establishing these could be done in-game without save-transferring (like Miranda asks us who did we pick as the Human Councilour at the beginning of ME2)
Have you guys seen this

Yeah, back in the days when Javik was no more than a nameless rumor being continually debunked by Priestly I started a thread about him following E3 and used the name Prothy the Prothean as a temporary nickname for him. Plenty of people said a prothean squadmate was ridiculous and that I was grasping at straws. Though he grew pretty popular, and by page 88ish the 2011 november leaks confirmed he was in the game.Restrider wrote...

Idk about most but i would be fine with ME4 being a sequel provided it's at leaste 20+ years later and shep isn't the protagonist (Just imagine if shepard was the mentor and all of his actions and personality were based on your sheps).masster blaster wrote...

this is another example for how easy it is to manipulate the gullible and ignorant masses distracting them from far more serious issues.
looking @ some of the comments "ban this game and the people who created such sickness"
