A fact that is usually ignored and that I like to point out again.
The endings were only made by Mac and Hudson, afaik.
Why this amount of secrecy?
There is no real twist in the literal ending...

Hold it right there.
Didn't that come from some forum, the OP of which was only assumed to be a Bioware writer, supposedly Weekes? Or in other words, just a rumor?

Because I find it incredibly unrealistic that a creative writing team could somehow accept that the endings are written the way they are without any protest?

Well, I do not know. So let it be hearsay then.
If it is true, why the secrecy?

I'm pretty sure the account that made that claim was one known to be owned by Weekes. And the post was basically him complaining about what you just said.

I think they later said the account was hacked, though, so who knows.

Weekes denied everything, and claimed he would never do such a thing, pointing out that everything done by the Bioware team was done together, and agreed upon; besides, look at it logically; not only would it have had to pass peer review, since EA would have fired the Casey and Mac faster than you could say "Jackrabbit" if they WERE to blame for the whole fiasco, they also would have needed to get it past the alpha test team, the beta test team, the level designers, the cinematics designers, Dr.Musyka, and basically pull the wool over the eyes of the entire company to do so.

The odds are against it.

Interesting discussion on the"Shepard out-of-body-experience" thread.

Seems like some people are willing to believe that the Catalyst conversation at least entirely takes place within Shepard's mind...

This thread really slows down around holidays :?
Only ~10 new pages over night, in summer we had ~30

BioWare should "leak" some information for christmas, as present for us

Starting a new ME3 playthrough. Apparantly the game won't let me just load up my latest save with the most recent one, since i removed the EC. It is curious however that it does let me load a save from before the start of the whole genophage subplot part of the game, Right befor Priorit: Sur-Kesh. Maybe it has something to do with the Leviathan DLC - it maybe the last save i did before completeing it.
I'm really curious how the game will work with the Leviathan and Omega DLCs but without the EC.

LOL, yeah.  I liked that pic.  He's so adorable and terrifying sitting there with his paws crossed, looks so peaceful, yet so ready to unmake any that dare oppose him.

There's also a strange wall of plants on one of the levels. By the cabs, I think.

My impression was that it wasn't there before (I mean in the early months of the game being out).
