If it's a bug I can't fathom when it was actually supposed to appear because it makes no sense anywhere. And no, I don't recall seeing any comment whatsoever from Bioware.KneeTheCap wrote...
Did they offer any explanation why that message appears after the game? Or did they just brush it off as a bug? And what was the other one that does not fit?

Considering the two messages from that app that dont fit in at any point in the game and you only get after beating the game, Shep probably goes to the hospital.

Shep can't do this all on his own, oh no, he's no superman.

That would be the one yes.
No, don't ask me how I got "Dorktanian" out of "Fingertip".
Considering you meant Fingertrip and not Dorktanian, you calling him a pest goes from being a bit mean and out of nowhere to far too nice and well deserved.

Who says face value was ever intended as a truly valid ending?. The literal ending fails at everything. Writing, closure, lore and themes, actual logic, gameplay, emotional impact (no not rage) and even just basic enjoyment is all absolute fail.
IT + Reveal fixes all of it. Some argue IT w/o reveal fixes everything but closure.
Regardless, do you think Bioware went full blown catastrophic head trauma retarded with the ending, or that the same company that has a penchant for twist endings is at it again?
So much this.
I don't think face value was ever intended to be legit. They're just pretending.
People complaining that an IT reveal would invalidate three out of four endings, simply don't understand that these endings aren't in line with any of the lore or logic in the story.
The point of the ending is that the Reapers are incredibly devious, and after everything we've seen throughout the trilogy, it is beyond naive to go along with what the so-called Reaper Overlord suggests.
And I absolutely can't believe Bioware is going to reward players for doing that.
As Javik says: "The galaxy has never rewarded the naive."

It's no different that making the wrong choices for people during the suicide mission. All you had to go on was your knowledge of each of the characters. It was a test to see if you paid attention throughout the game. Hell, Miranda even recommends herself for the bubble and can't do it, this is no different.

Yeah you had to remember Miranda's ego in that scene. Someone who can do it brings up the idea and volunteers and then Miranda goes all "No! I can totally do it too!" Picking Miranda is clearly foolish but I doubt it stopped many people.BleedingUranium wrote...

I think what irks me the most are bad writing zealots suggesting that choices in this game don't have any major impact. Last I checked entire races either live or perish based on your decisions.
And the choice to save both races in another situation cannot even be pulled of unless you completed certain events in the game before and one choice in ME2 can make it much harder to save both races.

Well, some may pick control in order to have their Shepard live. Sort of. The kid does tell you that if you choose destroy, you die.

Selfishness is obviously the bad choice though, which is my point. People who don't pick Destroy are making a bad decision...and should live with it

And Control is invalidated for anyone with a functional short term memory, and can recall Shepard's little speech from a mere 5 minutes earlier, explaining to TIM just what a horrendous idea it was.
