Hmm ... just thinking about this: we have 3 huge Reapersstructures on earth arround the beam.
Maybe the cables and this are part of them and not of Rho and the Citadel?

I was listening to some of my FMA music, and I found this song I think you should hear:

It's lyrics remind me roughly of the Catalyst and his offer of Control and Synthesis being deception. The lyrics translated are:

Stone of philosophers, ruby red stone, which caused so much sacrifice and misery unknown.

Deceptively though, the stone did appeal and made foolish men think it's happiness real.

O wise philosopher you must grieve no more if you wish to revive the mirth of before.

You must face your past, for you cannot atone for the damage you wrought with the wretched red stone.

Where is the land? That land from the past, which many before you sought and amassed?

Take heed of their folly, and don't be deceived by the trap which left many despaired and bereaved.

Though for happiness, power and ease they did strive, instead they found death and now none are alive.

Consider these perished; this warning adhere. Will you continue to seek out this stone you held dear?

You who beheld it's baneful hue red when the blood of your own arm and own leg was shed?

Stone of philosophers, ruby red stone. When will you cease and leave mankind alone?

There is actually a better quastion. Why is Normandy's SR2 reactor core has holes into outer space in ME3? I checked - in ME2 the core room HAD the elements that are missing in ME3 - so whe building a level you would have to actually remove them, to leave the level incomplete, and it wasn't fixed by the patches or DLCs.

Have you tried flymode-ing and looking at that from the outside?
-It kind of looks like sections have normals facing the wrong way.
(These sort of things can quite easily slip past, in modelling, if your modeller viewmode displays faces two-sided, even though you export them one-sided. Say you model one half of a perfectly symmetrical room, which you copy and mirror to make the other half; Your mirror tool may invert the normals, along with everything else and you may well forget that at times.)

I wish she looked like the promotional art. That femshep is hot. Not the in game though.

I never wanted a hot femshep, personally. I wanted a believable one. One, where you can see she's a combat veteran just by looking at her face. I think that's what actually made the original femshep so popular.

I miss the customizable scars in ME1.

Also, since I'm bored, what does your FemShep look like?

Here's mine:

Well, I've got a few. I'll just post my favourite ones.

This is my canon paragon femshep:

And lastly, this is my canon absolute renegade femshep:

Hm, for some reason, I can't upload my renegon femshep picture, which definitely is my absolute favourite. She' also the first one I created.

EDIT: I managed to upload my renegon femshep. Here:

I can never bring myself to be renegade, at least not fully. Seems to me that you miss out on oportunitys and kill off alot of characters.

I love renegon above all. My Shepard isn't a totally sadistic douche, she's more of a pragmatist than anything else.

Same here, though pretty much all of my characters aren’t full paragons, they all have a little bit of a renegade in them. Some of the renegade interrupts are to awesome to not choose, the Krogan headbutt for instance. Plus I find that playing a more neutral or pragmatic character makes Shepard feel more realistic.

I like that ME3 went back to letting you be a mix between paragon and renegade. A lot of renegade stuff in ME2 was just stuff I could never do, and I always ended up not having enough paragon or renegade to do the higher level persuades.

Renegades tend to have more EMS in their playthroughs than paragons.

Considering I lost my original savefiles (yeah...) here's a recreation of my Femshep.  Pretty standard looking, all in all.

If you don't headbutt Uvenk, you don't deserve to call yourself a Shepard.
