Volus being able to fight does not mean volus are cut out for the special insertion missions. They're not doing well at recruiting everyone and anyone if the best of the best among the recruits fall over with a light push.

You know, for a minute, I considered joining this volus discussion, but now, I'm really, really not going to. You all should know by now that I don't mind the volus in MP, since they are described as mercenaries in custom powered armor. I'm not going to say anymore, since it's clear that no matter what I say, I'm not going to change opinions.

I like the part where you said you weren't going to do something, and then in the next sentence you did it.

And I like the part where you assumed that just because I was stating my opinion I was planning on joining the conversation.

JFC. How many times must this be said? IT'S NOT ABOUT WANTING TO FIGHT. IT'S ABOUT THE ABILITY TO DO SO. It's a simple concept. So very simple. How is it so hard for you to understand? I feel like I'm trying to explain quantum physics to a cheese wheel. "But they want to fight, and wanting to fight means you can move at whatever speed is necessary to fight!" ... Where's Sevial? I think I need some more intelligent conversation now.

JFC. How many times must this be said? I addressed ALL those points in my earlier post. How difficult is it to read a paragraph or two ot plain text and take said ideas into your head? Is simple comprehension beyond you?
VOLUS CAN AND DO MAKE UP FOR THEIR SHORTCOMINGS VIA USE OF SPECIALISED EQUIPMENT. It's a very simple concept. So very simple even a child could comprehend it. But then of course, to comprehend it, you would actually need to pay attention to and read the posts. Maybe I should have a wander over to the Synthesis thread, and endure a better class of selective blindness.
Like what? Rollerskates and prosthetic arms? I still don't see them fighting in special insertion missions because they can afford good shields.ElSuperGecko wrote...

Garrus: Why does the Alliance hire pilots with brittle bone disease?
Joker: You're ****ting me. The turian military has one about me?
Garrus: Oh, absolutely. I heard it myself from a private back on Palaven.
Joker: All right, why does the Alliance hire pilots with brittle bone disease?
Garrus: Because humans are dumbasses that think if their pilots with brittle bone disease just want to fight hard enough, they'll be the equal of any justicar, STG, or battlemaster.
Huh... I don't remember that line before. Did they change that in a patch?

Because people stating their opinions to one another is origami, not conversation.

The discussion veered off massively. Sooo....oops.
I think everything to do with IT more or less hangs on the next DLC, if it is indeed going to be the last SP content. With everyone who's ever written Mass Effect seemingly on board, and most of the major voice actors back, it's gonna be pretty big. Whether or not it's to do with IT is kinda hard to say, though everyone is putting their hope into it. There was that tweet (can't remember who tweeted it) about Bioware planning something so big that we'd all hold on to our copies of Mass Effect 3 forever, but I think for some, it's too little too late. So yeah, everything kinda rides on this DLC whichever way you look at it.
Oh, and if ME4 is the big IT twist or something along those lines....well I'd be out of this thread and these forums pretty sharpish. Wouldn't want to see the amount of **** that would hit the fan then.
