Guys, your point is moot, since the MP - is a training sim, that prepares the troops for the front lines - anything is game in there.

They can make the expansion pack the length of a full game. Look at the Shivering Isles for TES: Oblivion.paxxton wrote...
Sure they can. But a full game (and a change of plans) would be nice and welcome.LDS Darth Revan wrote...

People just need to stop for a moment and think about it. ME4 as a proper IT reveal would come much later than a DLC would. That's obvious since developing a DLC is relatively easily compared to creating a full-blown game. But leaving IT for ME4 BioWare could embrace the next-gen of hardware in the upcoming consoles and create something unique and fresh, a game that would blow everyone's minds. So the initial wait would be longer but the reward could be so much greater and more satisfying. We've already been waiting almost a year. We can wait another, and one more.Rifneno wrote...

The discussion veered off massively. Sooo....oops.
I think everything to do with IT more or less hangs on the next DLC, if it is indeed going to be the last SP content. With everyone who's ever written Mass Effect seemingly on board, and most of the major voice actors back, it's gonna be pretty big. Whether or not it's to do with IT is kinda hard to say, though everyone is putting their hope into it. There was that tweet (can't remember who tweeted it) about Bioware planning something so big that we'd all hold on to our copies of Mass Effect 3 forever, but I think for some, it's too little too late. So yeah, everything kinda rides on this DLC whichever way you look at it.
Oh, and if ME4 is the big IT twist or something along those lines....well I'd be out of this thread and these forums pretty sharpish. Wouldn't want to see the amount of **** that would hit the fan then.
I really don't know what to think. I've been around since about page 300 of Mk 1, and I've seen so many "omg, this is it, we're gonna get the reveal!" moments (ESPECIALLY EC, my God that sucked) that I've completely lost the ability to get my hopes up. So I don't expect the reveal in the next DLC. If it happens, fan-****ing-tastic. If not, meh.
Also, having more time to develop the story means that we would get more content, more missions, more consistency and hence higher level of immersion.
ME3 is passé.That was a joke.
While this is a good idea, I don't think they'll use ME4 if they do an IT reveal. Just because since the days of ME1 Bioware has stated that Shepard's story would be a trilogy, not a quadogy or whatever it's called. Now, they can do a full-blown expansion pack and thus get passed the 2 GB DLC limit, and that way it's still a trilogy and leaves ME4 open for the new protagonist.

Im currently playing Project Overlord in my first complete trilogy play-through. Insanity mode just doesn't seem nearly as hard as it used to. I guess its all the gold and platinum experience I've racked up.

It is, but Overlord has very balanced gameplay - it is easy. Wait till you get to lair of the shadow broker - the Azure rooftop battle is hard. Also the faight where you break out Kenson is kinda hectic. (Arrival)

Hate to sound like one of those people, but why do they need to reveal IT? I mean with all the information and evidence that we've found throughout the game, couldn't people just assume IT was their plan?
Let's just pretend that they don't reveal IT, then what? How would people around here react to that?
Done it on the second try, it's easy if you know how you can use the ai to give you an advantage.Rifneno wrote...

The fight at Object Rho, the one you're supposed to lose but can get an achievement for winning... OMFG. That fight is harder than a priest in an elementary school bathroom. Only fight I've never won on insanity.

Even if the battle for one persons soul was the main point of the trilogy, it doesn't change that reapers are still ou there about to kill everyone. I'm so glad I did the right thing before me and everyone else ever died.magnetite wrote...

As one guy put it, he thought he bought a game about saving the galaxy, instead he got one which is more a less a battle for one man's soul (or the soul of humanity and organic life).
