Which door on Horizon?
I don't recall which door it was, but there was a door where if you walked through it, the game would crash.

Destroy can never be a trap because it's the one thing Starbinger doesn't want you to pick. He's like a used car salesman trying to steer you away from the cheapest car so you can buy the expensive car because the commission would benefit him.
Unless you really think he's using reverse-psychology, and all indications seem to be he's not since he's actively steering you towards Synthesis.
Steering you towards Synthesis would be reverse-psychology.
He wants you to pick, if you pick then you're in the game and if you're in the game then you will be indoctrinated.
Because if he didn't steer towards an option then you might think all the options were false because he wasn't trying hard enough to convince you on what you thought the Reapers would want.
Unrelated;
A delusional Shepard without knowing would pick refuse and a delusional Shepard without knowing would accept choices from the Reapers.
They've been trolling for ages. I gave up trying to use logic on them.BatmanTurian wrote...
I'm sorry, but this is the most illogical thing I've ever read, and I've seen more than a few lolcats and timecube rants in my time.

Guys, your point is moot, since the MP - is a training sim, that prepares the troops for the front lines - anything is game in there.
its not a training sim. That would be pinnacle station. Mp is actually other characters in the spec ops team and their little battles against the forces that are out to destroy the galaxy
Despite it being improbable combinations of soldiers using improbable (or impossible) weapons, fighting enemies in warzones where they aren't, or even all mashed together...?
Either its a training sim, or its completely outside the universe canon.

Happens to me all the time on Illium, when you try to go to through the door under Liara's office.
To avoid it from crashing, you have to go to Eternity Bar first.
Happened to me on two different computers at the same position!

It's not like they just throw on a little body armour, they're the Volus equivalent of Tony Stark: they're really rich (even by Volus standards) and have custom made super advanced suits, the best that can be made.
And Vorcha have space fighters, it's called adding to the lore, it doesn't break it.
Liara, no combat training, does nothing but study for 100 years, no one questions her ability in an elite squad. It all makes sense now.BleedingUranium wrote...

Pick any other example you like, my point is that just because we haven't heard of something doesn't make it impossible. It's like the argument that Shepard can't be being indoctrinated at the end because we have no evidence that indoctrination causes life-like hallucinations with a kid and choices (etc).

Best thing is still "Let's get paid." when starting an objective based round, and "By your credits." as acknowledgement.
Also listen to the Volus on Illium and the upgrades he wants to purchase.BleedingUranium wrote...

They're certainly supposed to be funny, but they're not a joke in the way some people say they are. Vorcha and Batarians are funny too, so that's not an argument against Volus.
Not necessarily directed at you, Megumi

I didnt say they break the lore. At a stretch I could see a volus pouring ****loads of cash into a suit that could maybe work well enough to fight, but they'd be extremely stupid to do so, when said money could be better used elsewhere.
Like I said, its stupid. You could buy a ton of guns for however much cash it costs to get a volus combat suit.
Yes, also again, listen to the Volus on Illium.BleedingUranium wrote...

True, but remember, they do suck in direct combat. Everything they have going for them is super awesome gadgets and some biotics, they die in about a second.

When you think about it you're always fighting the reapers no matter what faction you're up against. The collectors are easy enough to explain. Cerberus troops are indoctrinated cannon fodder, and the Reapers still retain control over a sizable population of geth. Enough to still be considered a threat.
