LOL @ darth. lucky me not snow. Not lucky me in the rain. And yes I walked and yes it was uphill.

That's just something my parents always say when they talk about how good we have it, so you reminded me of that. I also had to walk uphill to get to school.

Hey, a quote about the wiiu's gimmicks oddly appropriate to the catalyst's choice-o-matic: a solution looking for a problem.

just one question.....popping back in for a moment.

someone presented you with 3 lollys, promising each of these lollys would be the ultimate lolly. you look at these lollys and pick your favorite coloured lolly. when said lolly is finished it leaves you wishing that actually the other lollys might have been nicer - you could have tried those first......but you were only offered one... you resent the person who did the offering....as the others were out of your reach now....and surely must have been nicer? you must live with your decision.

pick a colour from the choices you are given. that is all.

I don't understand what you're trying to ask us. Please explain.

I think he's saying all three endings suck

yes they do.

however - think of it like this.  You are on a gallion in navel combat with pirates.

you have a cannon.  there are three different fuses for the cannon - each a different colour.  Someone suggests to you that each fuse has a special purpose if you light it.  The red one makes the cannon super powerful,  the blue one allows you greater control over where you hit with the cannonball, and the green one allows you to fire a warning shot across the enemy's bow, knowing that if you miss they will kill you.

you are given the choice on which colour fuse to light.  you make a choice on the colour.  what are the results?

The cannon still fires whatever the choice.  The illusion is control.  The choice itself is Control.  Thats the lie.  There is no choice.  You do not have any control over the cannonball.

Now equate that to ME3s ending..

The ending is either a flawed work of genius (IT) or the most epic narrative and thematic collapse I've ever seen (not IT).

Because, depending on your interpretation, it's either bollocks or a cliffhanger.

Have you paid any attention the last nine months? Any at all? Essays have been written about why virtually no one likes the ending.

I've no problem with people liking it, but I'm confused at how they can be shocked at others disliking it.

I like FF13 and DA2 for instance, but I can see the major flaws and understand why many don't.

yes.... look past the 'colours'

it turns off the mass relays. Thats what it does. Thats all it does. It disables them - with pretty colours. If we lose the mass relays we're boned. Thats the crudibles purpose. It presents you with the illusion of choice but in reality there is no choice. red green blue you pull the trigger and we lose.

Thats the reapers goal (and yes it does tie into IT)

to indoctrinate an organic to make the decision to fire the gun that will turn off the relays.  They cannot do it themselves.... star brat as much as tells you this if you're listening.

Think about it.  It makes sense.
