It'll be fine.  At this point, given how 2012 has been for endings, whatever is supposedly going to destroy the world will probably botch it and leave us unsatisfied.  Oh, and no matter what, it will still be a better ending than (a face value interpretation of) Mass Effect 3.

Too many speculations. Too many speculations! I was looking at a mission today and the outcomes and I was trying to figure out if there was any ending symbolism in it. It took me about 2 minutes before I realized that there's no Mass Effect 3 symbolism in Skyrim. ... <sigh>
