This could be related Posted Image More teasing. He's not guessing.

Ah, here it is. Talking about this previous comment.

Very interesting!

"Reckoning" would be the perfect title for an IT DLC. In more than one way.

Maybe it is a SP thing after all. :o

Two thoughts:
Could they mean something like this with brains?
Maybe the last DLC will be MP and SP (though this is just a thought)?

I was saved Ash. Kadin for some reason just feels right to die. I like Kaddin, but ya he dies. Also huh isn't it weird that shouldn't we see at least an old picture of Kadin, or Ash if they died in ME1. As should Wrex. Yes they didn't fight in the war war, but they helped Shepard get to this point.

Ashley may have other signs, IDK. She's not alive in my ME3 playthrough.

IIRC, Ashley was one of the crew members who felt like being watched by the Human Reaper on Cronos Station.

So, that makes her a suspect.

because previous to ME3, Conrad Verner and reporters were the only people with cameras

From a storytelling perspective, yes, even though I like Kaidan better. Though, that's not what we're talking about, I'm on a bit of a tangent now Posted Image

From a storytelling perspective I think it makes more sense to save Kaidan (only taking ME1 into account).
Here is my reasoning:

1. Who do you send with the Salarians?
-> Someone with combat and tactical capabilities. In any case not the marine, but the lieutenant who knows more about alliance protocols. This leaves Ashley arming the bomb and Kaidan guarding the AA gun.

2. Kirrahee states that once the bomb is armed, nothing can really stop it from blowing up.
-> Ashley arms the nuke - which will supposedly go off now regardless of enemy intervention - while it is uncertain if the salarian team with Kaidan can secure the AA gun long enough for a save retreat of the Normandy.
-> Furthermore you save not only Kaidan but also a whole salarian STG team.
-> Kaidan has a higher rank than Ashley.
-> Through her sacrifice, Ashley can honor her family and clear her family's name off her grandfather's doings.

The only reason to save Ashley is if you were romancing her or if you really prefer her more than Kaidan.

Aren't Husks and to some extent all Reaper/Collector forces some kind of high-tech zombies?

I sent Ash with the Salarians because I figured they were squishy and needed a tank.

Plus I needed Kaidan to arm the nuke. He's the tech person of the two.

Meeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhh, you know what I mean - like an 'Undead Nightmare' type dealio.

Husks are a bit different - Zombies are all to do with viruses and infections imo

Gun I mean important to Shepard. Believe it or not for some reason the death of Kadin, or Ash great affects Shepard. We should at least see a slide shot of them if they died in ME1, not only for ME3.

Also that reminds me why isn't Grunt in Synthesis? I mean did Bioware forget him, or what. Unless it's a clue that " hey something isn't right here people. Where is Grunt, and why is Kasumi holding hands with her dead BF?"

That is a reasonable approach as well.
I just think that both Ashley and Kaidan are at least equal combat-wise. And do not forget that Kaiden has barriers that make him also quite resilient.

I'll have to give you the tech expertise, but I figured that the person handling the nuke would not be exclusively be one of the VSes.

Usually, I always save the person at the AA gun, though. Just depends who you let arm the nuke then.

The thing with Grunt always did strike me the wrong way. kasumi though is easier to explain: now that we are all cyborgs we can connect to the digital world, which that pic represents. Think Matrix or Ghost In The Shell.

But you get that even if you destroyed the graybox data in ME2, which doesnt make any damned sense.

Garrus can appear after the normandy crash, dont know about the rest
the Kasumi thing was made by Bioware to punish me for destroying the Greybox and killing Jacob so Kasumi and Shepard could live happily ever after

Fur if he was created out of her memorys, then why doesn't Shepard's LI think about Shepard so much he/she comes back as a ghost, or what ever?
