You know, since the Reapers are made of dead people, technically speaking ME3 is the Ultimate Zombie Apocalypse.

P.S. BatmanTurian, why you @Uncle Jo?  I saw that and thought he was back here.  Now I'm sad.

That was Ieldra responding to Uncle Jo. He still posts, just not in here apparently.

Please understand that my intent is not to be antagonistic. I simply care too much about the legitimacy of synthetic life to choose Destroy and ignore the other choices. I don't wish to make any enemies. I just have different priorities.

We agree with you that synthetic life is life, like all other life, but we support destroy because we value everyone's right to choose over all else. I wouldn't change my opinion of Destroy if it was any other race that would die, I see the synthetics part as irrelevant. If 50% of all life in the galaxy died I'd still pick it.

I can respect that. I disagree, but I respect it.

It's the "they're toasters, I don't care" crowd that I get uppity about.

So yesterday I revisited Haestrom. Took Kasumi and Miranda with me since they both have Overload and was curious how Kasumi reacts on that mission. Then I got to Tali and remembered that there's an awesome cutscene with her and Legion. Should I replay it?

No, because then you can't save your crew.

What if I do all loyalty missions before the Derelict Reaper?

Just to get some stupid scenes that you can look up on youtube?

Anyways, that still be three missions after the Reaper.

Legion's loyalty, Tali's recruitment, and Tali's Loyalty.  Thats one mission too many if you want to save the crew.

If Tali's not loyal, she always dies on Suicide Mission?

I never said that, I just said that the sword breaking mechanic was Hollywood magic. As for the fight itself, I'm with you on my money being on Mr. Trejo.

my response was a joke saying that Mr. "All Red Power Rangers combined but mexican" Trejo could break a katana even in real life.
Dont know how much would the katana would resist in real life if i had to fight lets say 50 zombies a week, so i´m staying with the ones i know and had closer, my japanese friends are too far from my house
Also everytime you post a picture you like of FMA, does it goes to your sig?

Control and Synthesis proponents are getting more pushy and antagonistic....

Mind to elaborate, Mr. Turian?:o

Why don't more people choose Control?

Destroy - Killing Synthetics to Save Synthetics

http://social.biowar.../index/15344202

I opened up those links expecting massive amounts of Bioware and IT bashing. I like that regardless if they believe the ending is indoctrination, a lot of them still aren't buying the Catalyst's BS.

Still annoying that the most vocal are getting more and more pushy as the DLC cycle comes to a close... almost as if they are in denial and trying to convince themselves...

Please understand that my intent is not to be antagonistic. I simply care too much about the legitimacy of synthetic life to choose Destroy and ignore the other choices. I don't wish to make any enemies. I just have different priorities.

And the same for me, even if I took the endings literally, so we will never agree. I'm certain a large amount of people would say the same thing. This all simply promotes a cycle of controllers, synthesizers, and destroyers fighting over philisophical and moral dilemmas that are not cut and dry and depend on your own point-of-view, morals, and understanding of the universe's lore.

Still Tali's loyalty mission is awesome and it would be a shame to miss it.

Also, if classic IT is true, then synthetics won't die at all, since the Crucible never fired.

Yeah, the Synthetic part is irrelevant. We know they are self-aware, "alive", if you will. The price of using the crucible is that it targets synthetics. It's not something that can be changed at the last minute. It's not something any of us really want to happen, but it's the price that has to be paid and sacrifices are made in war. It's unfortunate, but it's more pragmatic than control and synthesis, which are naive choices IMO.

You can also just wait to recruit Tali until after the suicide mission. Storywise it doesnt make much sense, but you can totally do it.

Right. I forgot ME2 let's you play after the main storyline, unlike ME3.

Although if you do that, someone will die, since you dont have the shields from her.

Then someone will die, actually.  You need the shield upgrade she gives the Normandy.

Yeah, just saying.

It's simple though, IMO.

The premise of the game is: if you want to have a victory, you need to be prepared to make sacrifices.

If you can't do that, then you can't have a victory.

You can't always win and save everyone, it is just not possible.

It's made clear right from the beginning, when Hackett says he had to sacrifice an entire fleet to have the other two escape.

Against zombies, it'd feel no strain at all on it's structural integrity, and I own a pair so I'm like you, just use what you have.
The first pic is just to identify me until I get it as my avatar, but the other two yes but they really have to stand out above the rest.

Yep, good luck explaining it to people who think we're monsters.
