No, not always, as with any char have the approval high enough and talk with her in the camp.

Wasn't there also a bug with her dialogue where you couldn't romance her if you got too much approval too fast?  That could be the difficulty he was having.

Hmm yes maybe... but dunno if it's bound to the story or character interactions.

The whole synthesis thing ought to be a no brainer realization for anyone whose played through ME1. Im curious to see if there is any correlation between what interpretation people believe and how much of the trilogy + dlc they've played in addition to reading the books and comics.

not for me cause I played the trilogy and still jumped the pit the first time. Though there might be a coronation between how much I forgot the events of ME1 and likelihood i would not jump into the pit. 

Though...:innocent: BioWare mods if you're reading this...you put out the entire trilogy on the Wii U and I had the power of Miiverse to chat as I play with everyone... I just will pick destroy

some would call it a strategic withdrawal and a victory. At least that's what Washigton may have done. He never really "surrendered" except once. The rest were withdrawals followed by a "victory" claim. Seems like our refuse folks. 

Though I do wonder if Refuse is a viable ending in the context of refusing to play the Reaper's game their way but to play it Shepard's way. I also wonder if the video afterwards is just another nightmare scene

there are several. You can "refuse" to give the PTSD Asari a gun is just one of several
