I should clarify that I think Morrigan is a great and interesting character. I almost never agree with her on anything, but I do enjoy her character. Plus, the scene where she finally admits she considers the warden a friend always makes me happy.

Miranda is just bland as hell. I'm not as interested in great asses as the average person, so I never found anything appealing about her.

Yeah, I agree that her friend scene is very well done. I rarely see it because I hate her. Then again, I don't like most of DAO's characters. Wynne is the exact opposite of Morrigan and exactly as annoying. No matter how much of a saint you act, she STILL preaches constantly. I swear, I almost took that slaver's offer to blood magic all those innocent elves for the sole purpose of pissing off Wynne.

Agreed about Miranda too. Legs > *.

Oh, I have the Witch Hunt DLC, so my Male Warden met up with Morrigan again.

Though i dont particularly reccomend that DLC. It isnt very good.

That's like saying cancer isn't very fun. Witch Hunt was offensively bad. "There will be answers" was the advertisement. What answers? It only left more questions. We all assumed it was basically an advertisement for DA2, and as much of a load of crap as that would be, at least it'd be understandable. But it wasn't. DA2 didn't deal with any of the issues it was about. FFS, we never even found out what that thing was Morrigan left for the Warden even though IT WAS OUR CHARACTER GETTING IT. Inexcusable.

Jade8aby88 wrote...

Exactly, she has the most amazing character development if you become friendly or higher with her. Kind of like Jack. But way more complex.

I disagree. Jack makes a big turnaround. She develops as a person and as a character. It's great to behold. Morrigan remains Morrigan. She just gets a bit emotional about the Warden while remaining as awful as ever.

Do you think the demon that possessed Flemeth is corrupted Razikale?

Last time I played DA it seemed to me that Flemeth is THE key figure of the series thus far...

Wait, why are we discussing DA anyway?

Damnit guys, I saw 5 pages in an hour and thought "Hmm, some relevant news??!?!"

To my dismay, it's a DAO discussion. I played a Dalish Elf archer

One of the major theories is that Flemeth outright IS Razikale, and Razikale was never corrupted.  It certainly can't be a corrupted Razikale since a corrupted old god is interested in nothing but wanton destruction.

Oh, and here's a mindblower for you since we're discussing DAO theories.  Guess what happened around the time Andraste would've been conceived?  The Dumat archdemon was killed.  Her powers aren't from the "Maker", they're from her being the Dumat OGB.  Flemeth, and by extention Morrigan, seemed awful sure that dark ritual would work.  They're not stupid.  They'd only be sure if there was precedent.

It sucks because I just got Skyrim on steam too. But honestly... After playing DAO, I can't see myself playing it..

It's just because they are so similiar in setting that the whole time I'm playing skyrim I know I'm going to be thinking of Alistair's funny jokes, or Morrigan's b1tchy lines. Or Oghren's drunkness', or Leliana's cuteness.... Damn, totally just wasted $50.

That's true, but that's why I meant Morrigan's is much more complex, because it's not such an obvious turn around, she learnt a lot about humanity and friendship, but she's still the same old Morrigan. Though I haven't played The Witch Hunt yet so I don't know how much she's been changed.

So OGB, Old God Birth?.. All sounds really plausible btw... You're defs right about Morrigan being so certain about

The Dark Ritual. They must have known somehow.

Mhm, but why would Razikale be awake then? Aren't the OGs supposed to be taking a nap? I'm confused :?

And the Chantry worships an elven god.. oh the irony :innocent:

I hate the Thalmor almost as much as I hate Ulfric.

I once ran into a Thalmor patrol that asked if I worship Talos, and I told them I totally did, praise be to Talos and all that since I knew that'd get them to try and fight.

I dont even care for Talos. All my characters worship Sithis.

The only thing Ulfric is good for is being my Dead Thrall as I root out the remaining Stormcloaks with their zombified leader as my pet to demoralize them.

Hello friends!

Still sitting here with fever running high and surviving on painkillers. =)

To get back to IT:

I don't believe in Refuse as a way out in IT because literally -all- of the foreshadowing points to destroy and nothing else. All the lines about coming up for air, we fight or we die, Aria attacking the forcefield as a way out, etcetera, etcetera.

Also!

You know how I've been theorizing lately about how Legion may have been compromised, and how I think allowing the Geth to use the Reaper code in order to make peace between Quarian and Geth may result in disaster?

Remember how we noticed this pattern where Shepard uses the Carnifex for scumbag executions and the Predator as the gun for 'freeing from indoctrination'?

The only thing that seemed an exception to this is that Shepard uses the Predator to execute Legion.

Yeah.

Maybe I should pop some more painkillers and continue my playthrough.

Why so sad about the ending? Did your warden die?

*spoilers*

No, but Morrigan always runs off with child.

@ Keith, you can't.....

Oh, I have the Witch Hunt DLC, so my Male Warden met up with Morrigan again.

Though i dont particularly reccomend that DLC. It isnt very good.

Wait, I thought the character dlc's were prequels? Does this mean I can meet up with Leliana again in Leliana's song?

Leliana's song is the only one thats a prequel.

Imo Witch Hunt was a great piece, at least the last scene alone makes it all worthwhile, regardless of you romanced her or just had good approval.

Ulfric is a saint compared to the Thalmor.
I'm glad they actually provided a paragon route for dealing with the dark brotherhood instead of only giving the option to ignore it or help them. Too damn many "evil only" quests in Skyrim. And it's so much fun raiding their hideout.

Iirc it was Flemeth's Grimoire, or some other thing, I think the elf had an orgasm over seeing it.
Imo it points to where Morrigan is going and is basically a hint for the Warden to follow, even if she tells her not to.
