What's so cool about her? I don't think I've met her yet.

Did anything from the human protoreaper made it into the Crucible? If not, how could it change choices on low EMS?

I would assume the brain or heart made it because it is used as a power source -

But I can't think of a reason why either would affeect which options you have in literal. Posted Image

Not quite correct. The Reaper "heart" is the power core, but the "brain" is the central processor.
In low EMS that makes either even more unrefined raw and unstable energy, or something to better control the flow and form of the energy output.
Keep in mind that you can choose control even if destroy would still vaporize everyone (with the core, in a certain range). It's all about how the energy is released, where destroy is inherently unstable. Also even control, which shouldn't affect anything is still devastating Earth on lower ranges, again because the released energy wasn't calibrated enough.

So yeah. Recently started a new game, Borderlands, and I have to say...I'm decently surprised. I had my doubts about the game for sure. Now that I have started, my opinion has changed  greatly. The graphics are a nice change from other games, and the gameplay is decent. Storywise...all I have to say is "THAT's how you start a game!".

Hope you are talking about Borderlands 2, because the first one really left a lot to be desired on practically every aspect.

Nope. The first one. Purposely started with #1 cause I knew I wouldn't be able after playing the second. I heard that the sequel was MUCH better.

I sorta agree with your statement in that the story is sorta lacking at the point I am at. But everything else is fine. I probably have to add that the last game I played before Borderlands was Rage...so it's a big jump in quality in comparison. Rage was just...lacking. The story was horrible, but gameplay was alright. (I still have to finish it.)

id was never paramount when it came to stories in games, to be honest. That ending was particularly awful though. Just awful. Even in terms of gameplay.

What was so terrible about Rage's story aside from the sudden cliffhanger?

Episode 30?  I didn't know such a thing existed.  It's not one their website.  Odd.  Anyway, woo!  More Rooster Teeth Minecraft!

Hopefully we'll have more info on the next DLC! So much is unknown. Plus the mention of that bar possibly being in Rio combined with their best composer and all writers working on it suggest great things! Great things indeed...

My fave is Michael. Mainly because I find his Rage Quit series hilarious, though Ray is very close...and Gav because he's English like me!

I love all three of them, and I really can't pick a favorite, though there might be a slight edge to Gavin since he's been responsible for some of the funniest moments.

Hello friends!

Still sitting here with fever running high and surviving on painkillers. =)

To get back to IT:

I don't believe in Refuse as a way out in IT because literally -all- of the foreshadowing points to destroy and nothing else. All the lines about coming up for air, we fight or we die, Aria attacking the forcefield as a way out, etcetera, etcetera.

Actually, I could argue those. Refuse can't have a breath scene without confirming IT, so the part about coming up for air is fairly moot. Fighting or dying also applies. I find the Aria point to be pretty much exactly refuse though. If it is a way out, you didn't really know it, but you did it anyway. I think it fits that more that refuse anyway. Posted Image
