Around 20 seconds in? My phone isn't cutting it even with headphones. I'm not firing up the laptop to get a clearer sound tonight, but yeah I think that's the same sounds.

I'm going to sleep. I'd suggest using one of the breath scene only videos. No music and no fast forwarding.

The question is does reusing that asset there mean anything?

I need to see if I can find the breath only...never mind I think I found it.  I updated the link above

Well there's a set of sounds at 22-24 seconds.  There's one at 4-6 seconds, one at 55- 1 min, one at 1:21-1:23 and one at 1:43 - 1:44.  There's a few more but they're really faint.

I think so.  If it's the same sounds, then they deliberately hid the breath scene sounds right under our noses.  Well if you pan back, you'll realize you're sitting in the asset room and aside from the prominant galaxy map and loading, the only other prominent thing in the screen is the crucible.  Which we still don't know what it is.  But to display it here in such prominence, gives it great importance even though no main game or dlc has yet to explain the true importance only that it will be used to defeat the reapers.  Also it's not the first time they've recycled things like that.

Hmm, I'll see if I can hear it on my phone too. Probably won't be able to. I love these headsets, though, the only time I didn't like it was when I was recording ME1 sounds and Shepard's gun was so loud and I couldn't turn him down lol. But it's great for the little sounds like the ones I kept mentioning about the symbols. If I'm going to do a symbol related thing, It'll take a bit of time though cause I have some good ideas of how to best educate that one thanks to Dermesel and the Reaper tubes thing

Ok, try this with headphones and compare to the ending sequence

EDIT In fact if you play the one with headphones first then load the breath scene after and let them play together you'll hear the same sounds

Turning the volume right up you can hear what almost sounds like Cannibals growling in the distance.

Do people still believe in- nah just kidding! Haven't been here for a while on account of me literally blowing up my computer...Oh god living without a computer is hell. I am NOT catching up on this thread any time soon. That menu sound is pretty cool though.

Would anyone be so kind as to fill me in on anything that happened in the past two weeks?

Better yet, start the end sequence right at the point above for the breath scene, pause it after the first 3 clangs you hear and play the title sounds with headphones and you'll hear the same 3 clangs within the first 6 seconds and it repeats several times over

EDIT - TOP!  And if you hear what I hear, can I share Santa's cookies this year?

EDIT 2 - The top deserved this:

I've extracted both, the sounds from the shep alive video
biod_end002_600epilogue.Wwise_End002_Streaming.cineanim_end02_epilogue_shepalive
and both main menu tracks
entrymenu.Wwise_Main_Menu_Streaming.gui_mainmenu_amb_front
entrymenu.Wwise_Main_Menu_Streaming.gui_mainmenu_amb_rear

and I can't see any similarity in what I hear or the spectrum displayed.

Based on your recent statements, you'd not believe the sky was blue even if you were taken outside during the clearest day in history.

Based on your recent posts, which are badmouthing and not bringing anything to the table I don't care.

This just in: Xilizhra thinks the Leviathans built the Citadel and installed the intelligence inside.

Always a pleasure to debate people who rearrange the facts of the lore to support their headcannon.

I remember an ITer telling me he thinks that the Leviathans are the real baddies of the trilogy and it will be revealed later on.

I mean, you can argue for the sake of arguing that the Leviathans are indirectly responsible for everything...

With ME3's ending theres at least a tremendous amount of room for speculation. AC3's ending ended on a cliff hanger much the same way the others did, but it just felt flat and anticlimatic. I expected the end of Desmond's story to have a much bigger bang than what I saw.

"Facts" being what Sovereign told us, which has been proven multiple times to be untrue in several areas? For example, it was the Leviathans, not the Reapers, who built the mass relays.

That's why the relays wound up being dated at many different intervals, some as late as the Prothean cycle.

Yeah, same here. I mean, I used to enjoy the parallel storyline of Desmond, now the only way to saying I enjoyed it is to try to ignore his storyline and stick to Connor's. However, sadly his also got a bit meh towards the ending. But man, the first 3/4'th were great.

But yeah, at least ME3 and gave you a little doggy bad to take home with and enjoy for longer while lingering on the WTFs and your interpretation can be just as valid as someone else's. But other than that, the games are just different animals, I guess.

And again you and the insults, are you really so bitter that you have to resort to that 24/7?
Still getting some things right doesn't necessarily mean they got that right.

Stop pestering me with your misinformation, and I'll stop calling you on it.  And yes, they did get that right.  I'm refering to the CDN story around Arrival where researchers found a way to date the relays and the galaxy found out the Protheans didn't create them.

Anyone interested can start here and just follow the "Origin of Mass Relays Questioned" story arc.  Key quote: "Only a small fraction of the mass effect relays date back 50,000 years"  In other words, the Reapers are still making new relays every cycle.

This still doesn't give you the age of the Citadel and doesn't say if it predates the Reapers or not. It's only logical to assume the Reapers use the technology of the species they harvested. Including the Leviathans. Some being built the last cycle doesn't exclude the majority being built by the Leviathans.

Anymore irrelevant things to say?  It doesn't explain why there's no unicorns either.
