What if Legion was "We are not Legion" or Geth VI instead? Would you people still trust it to upload the Reaper code?

Wouldn't know, I've never dealt with the VI.  Only Legion.  And Legion is clearly doing it right.

Same here. Maybe he's like Wreav, and it'd be a bad idea? I honestly don't know, though.

The geth VI is basically Legion, but less emotional. He's also pretty untrusting of Shepard.

Has something of interest happened in the last 24 hours?

Well, I've come to the conclusion that Rifneno and Megumi are both equally full of crap today.

Careful, or you'll have to hear Blur ****ing about keeping it to PM's.

Well, you seem to like being brutally honest with your opinions.  I see no reason when dealing with you to NOT be brutally honest with mine.  You dish it out, be ready to take it back.

Edit: Top.

You realize that was a jab at Blur, right?

Yeah, well, I'm feeling a lot more frakking sympathy for Blur today.

Sorry about going to bed right before you pasted the link but I was exhausted. Plus it made good listening material when I woke up. it does sound very similar but I dont have good enough sound system to tell if its identical or not. Im hopefully getting great headphones for Christmas so Ill be able to tell then. Good catch either way.

That's a fun story.  Unfortunately, I really can't bring myself to care much about anyone on the "Megumi's free to troll" side of the fence.  So you know...

IT would work very well if we took the ME scenarios and planted them in the real world. IT falls apart under literary analysis, however. The story and configuration of ME plot shows and outright states IT is simply not the case.

I'm not defending ME's plot, just pointing out that IT is head-canon. You can't really get away from that.

Also I still think as do many other that Synthesis is the worst ending.

It makes all of our key choices pointless.

Legion sacrificing himself to have his race become true AI's pointless.
Cureing the Geno, and Mordin dying pointless.
Killing Saren pointless.
Fighting the Reapers pointless.
Destroying Kasumi's grey box, so she could move on pointless.
And more.

Control.
Killing TIM pointless.
Stoping Cerberus pointless.
Thessia pointless.
Mars pointless.
The war pointless.
Horizon pointless.
Thane's death pointless.
And more.

The only thing you could use against Destroy is.
Edi dies/ all you hard work to help her finally understand what makes organics the way they are pointless. Yet she was willing to die to save joker/ everyone else.
Make peace with the Geth and quarians pointless, yet not so. In a way the Geth showed everyone during this war that Synthetics can be trusted. If the Quarians wanted to make new Geth, then they now know how to handle their creations/ friends.
The Geth are also willing to die.

Not only that, but he can hear Harbinger in his head BEFORE he get's knocked out, and has a long conversation with a giant transparent image of him in outer space AFTER. Yeah, sure, nothing is wrong with Shepard.

No, you just seem to care about those who agree with everything you say and like everything you like. If someone has different opinions or like different things, you insult them.

Of course not!  I'm sure he's talking to that coffee maker because it's voice programmable or something.

Exactly. IT crumbles under even the slightest literary scrutiny. It doesn't have the foreshadowing and themes like the actual ending, which despite it's uneven delivery makes total sense and was even partially foreshadowed in a post launch dlc. I don't need to give examples because it's true by virtue of stating it

Fun fact: The reason Liara never seems to find out anything useful as the Shadow Broker is because all her useful stuff was given to Samantha.

You know if you think literally... Brat says they control TIM. Now if that's the case, then doesn't that makes TIM's ideas the Reapers ideas.

Wanting to control the Reapers. The Reapers idea.
Wanting to save humanity. The Reapers idea.
Experimenting on all the galaxy's races. Reapers idea.

TIM's talk about how destroying the Reapers gains us nothing. The Reapers idea.
What TIM does in ME3 all the Reapers doing. Ya what the brat says is true right, so that means he is behind TIM's crimes.

Oh wait he is just following his prgraming. Ya it has chocie, just like soldiers have chocie to follow the order through, as did Victors monster.

Oh ya IT, or literal TIM is being controlled by the Reapers. If you don't see TIM is their puppet, then I don't know.
