A few pages back people were saying in March. Still not sure where that came from.

You know I bet if I listened to the extracted title file I would probably hear the same sound. Restrider never got back to me about it. I don't know if Spot tried yet.

What kind of headphones do people use?

I tried it and the sounds are familiar to each other. But I am not really sure if they are the same. I guess the menu sound lacks the last part of the metallic scratching of the breath scene.
However, the menu sound was not really easy to listen to since it is very quiet.

thanks!  What headphones are you using?

I have a feeling it will be a big DLC but I doubt it will be the last nor will it be released as late as March. We still have about 3 whole months between now and ME3's 1 year anniversary.

The purpose of this DLC will likely be to add significant details to the story and to keep the fan base's interest high.

I'm away from my gaming PC right now, could anyone send me those files? I'd love to give them a listen.

EDIT: Just watched that comparison video in your signature, nobody is cheering in Synthesis, while in the others they do. Never actually realized that before. huh.

I have been playing through some of the other Bioware titles recently (most notably KoToR and DA:O) and the plot twist really stuck out to me...and it got me thinking, has there been that plot twist in ME?

ME 1 - Sovereign is a Reaper

ME 2 - Collector's were the Protheans

Ok, seems to be following the pattern so far...

ME 3- ?????

Is it just me, or is that game as is - missing the huge plot twist that Bioware is known for? I think that most here on this thread would agree what would fit perfectly...

ME3- Shepard was indoctrinated all along since be first reached Eden Prime in Me 1

Not indoctrinated. That implies the process is complete and he is a reaper servant. He's undergoing the process. The twist would be realizing Shepard has been slowly succumbing to indoctrination since at least Arrival.

Not Ivan :D I have pretty damn good headphones, and a pretty good sound system. I can also just analyze the sounds on my computer and look for differences that way.

@geth, that's true but I still think it started in ME1. By the way for two endings the process completes. I won't spoil it hehe

Know that this is slightly OT, so sorry in advance.

Saw this the other day...finally tracked it down again when I could post a link:

http://www.engadget....o-quantum-tech/

The article even references ME...pretty cool, if you ask me.

By the way.... We have two important Earth locations, and none of them was visited yet.
Rio - where the N7 training facility is, and Singapore - the first place on earth that got contaminated by Eezo.

In the Final Hours app they mention that initially they wanted to start the game by showing what happens around the world in places like Vancouver, London, Rio and Singapore. but later it was scrapped for better pacing.

Better pacing my ass. It has EA written all over it.

Better pacing is a very real and important thing.

Plot twists don't have to be unseen to be relevant...in fact IT is the perfect example of this and the perfect example of a plot twist that has yet to be truly revealed...

As for KoToR, I agree that if you were paying attention they slap you up alongside your head several times with hints through out the game to what is actually revealed on the Leviathan - but that doesn't take away from the fact that it was/is a great plot twist.

DA:O - I thought the Grey Warden who slays the Archdemon dies/Dark Ritual thing was/is a good twist...simply b/c it is not foreshadowed as much.

I don't remember if codex ever mention about wind on the Citadel. Or maybe i have problem with ears :)

Why do people feel the Indoctrination Theory thread is the perfect place to discuss how much they hate Mass Effect 3?

KoToR was a bit too obvious, I mean you see in the intro Bastila more or less winning over Revan, then the first thing you see is a dreamy excerpt of that same scene, then you wake up. Seriously the first thing after I saw that was "okay I'm either that guy or someone transferred his memories into me", though the reaction of other people, how they already know you etc made it crystal clear. That's not foreshadowing, that's saying "you are him", and later "yes dammit you're really him if you still didn't notice"

There are plenty of angry ignorant fools starting threads to bash the game and the company outside this thread. Is it so hard to just post there instead?
