I propose Spot takes just revenge by posting hi-res pictures of his hairy, naked butt whenever someone posts anime.

Now THAT would be cruel and unusual punishment, with emphasis on the unusual.

I'm more concerned that Doomsday knows what Spotlessvoid's butt looks like. To quote Mordin: Implications unpleasant.

Actually, I have no idea. The fact that I'm willing to be exposed, should tell you how I feel about anime.

What, you don't like looking at sphincters? Anything is better than anime IMHO.

Huh.  I'm definitely against the manass idea, but when you put it like that... yeah, it does seem kind of the lesser evil compared to anime.  Like control being not so bad compared to synthesis.

"actually, no. You're synopsis is distorted via you're excellent delusions. There is NO bad guy/critters in the MEU, no boogy men/machines. There is only life, that of which you cannot grasp the simplified concept. All of you're conceptions are wrought from metagame, which, doesn't apply."

Wow. Seriously, people who think the Reapers aren't villains should be put on some kind of watch list.

Hmm, with all this anime hate, maybe I should post the picture free version of my comparison here, and leave a link for those that don't hate/dislike it.

While i wouldn't go that far, I'd argue that someone being right or wrong is subjective. For example, Catalyst thinks he is doing the right thing, and we think what he's doing is terrible.

You might want to do that anyway. Last time I posted a slew of (IT-related) pictures, I got chewed out for it.

Or maybe he doesn't think he's doing the right thing at all. Maybe he's just an evil, lying SOB who enjoys being the top dog of the galaxy and doesn't want to say goodbye to his precious harvesting hobby.

I will probably do that then. The text itself is about 12 pages on Microsoft Word so with pictures it would take an entire page. Great to help us to page 3000, bad because everyone will be mad instead of actually reading. And without pictures, it's not anime, it's just literature.

And you'd be wrong.  It's really simple.  If you murder quadrillions of people, you're evil.  There's no "if" clause for your delusions when murdering an incomprehensible number of people.

Oh, I agree he is beyond redemption, but just in his POV life is nothing but data, and that's being preserved, thus he thinks he's preserving life and won't change his mind. *chuckle* There's an anime villian who is exactly the same mindset and thus helped lead me away from trusting the Catalyst.

Don't you have to pay to make a blog, or is that something else? I'm still new at actually making things here.

If he really thinks he is doing the right thing, then why does he agonize organics? After all this endless cycles he sure must know that his methods are painful. Like the collectors are in pain when using their weapons or banshees are in constant pain? And he must be aware that diluting organics must be horrible and painful for them.

If the simply cares about organics, he must've found a way to 'ascend' them without inflicting pain.

All Reapers need to die.
There is no " But I can't..or they can help"
Kill them, or we all die.
Heck in the end for AC3. Spoliers. Minerva is unlesheas, and now the Earth is going to pay for Desmonds stupidity.

I don't think so, actually. If you look under 'My content' / 'Blogs', there is a button for composing a new entry.

He has never experienced pain himself, and so doesn't know what pain is. For all he knows, pain is a pleasant sensation. As I said in the above post, I don't think he's redeemable, but there are two sides to everything. I'd post this anime poster since it's relevent, but since everyone on right now seems to hate it, I'll just quote the words. "War doesn't determine who is right...only who is left."

Of course, the Catalyst isn't burdened by such petty organic principles such as freedom, morality, empathy and emotion.  No such thing as love or hope or honour clouding it's judgement!

That being the case, I wonder why it's original "solution" failed...

Look, i get you don't like it, but you don't have to insult me for it by assuming I'm stupid. Anime has turned me further away fron trusting the Catalyst than you guys ever have.

Nope. The memories of the harvested civilizations are a part of every reaper. He as their mastermind does exactely know what pain is - and that it is not a pleasent sensation. As Mordin states in ME 2 - iirc - the collectors weapons are specificially designt to cause them great pain.

Yes, exactly!  The Reapers aren't "doing what they think is right."  They actually go out of their way to inflict suffering on the "lesser" species.  The entire catalyst speech is bull****.  Sovereign was the only Reaper that was ever honest about their intentions, because he's the only one that wasn't trying to indoctrinate.
