One small piece of evidence? Oi.

It is actually funny how it works both ways. How can everything be an arrival induced hallucination if you can complete arrival before the suicide mission? The mission is also part of that hallucination then and you still have to take out collectors?

the even accounted for it being completed in the middle of the story by replacing harbinger with collector general.

This scream (which does happen regardless of whether or not you shoot her) is contextually identical to something that IT states is hallucinated in the prologue of ME3. If someone believes that scream is real, then what sets them apart from the literalists? That they pick and choose which impossible things happened and which didnt based on whether it fits their "interpretation"?

You mean this one?

I don't think so. Kenson is right next to you when she dies. The kids scream sounds more unrealistic, dreamlike to me, while Kensons scream sounds more 'realistic'.

And inside a shuttle, really far away.

Also, Cerberus Troopers can yell "TAKING CASUALTIES" with no head. Or while exploding into chunks of meat.

I didn't think that was the kid's scream.  I thought that was a scream from one of the women on the shuttle (I believe there were a couple).

It sounds like a child to me. But even if there were women in the shuttle screaming, you (Shep) wouldn't hear them from that distance out of a closed shuttle.

I can tell you why we hear it.  It's part of Leaving Earth.  I don't know what this means, but I can tell you where it's from.

Edit: Also, the Reaper horn and the explosions are in the music, so maybe they're only meant to be heard by the player and not Shepard?

Hmm, like how the gunshots in Destroy are not caused by the gun firing, but added manually after, proving beyond a doubt that the Carnipredifexator is completely intentional (not that I doubted it was before). Megumi gets credit for finding that.

It's not the same situation, but they both show intention.

I think it's just the Reaper horns that are a part of the track, actually.

I never condoned his actions, just that I can understand his side. As for the pics, I gave a reasonable way for me to stop, but you refused my offer. That is fine by me, but I'll be nice since its Christmas time and not post a single anime picture until it is December 26 here, which will be 35.5 hours from now. That is my last word on the subject. Good day and Happy Holidays! =^)

I think I can hear the scream, or at least an echo that sounded like it, under the Reaper horn at around 0:40.

Edit: When I originally posted, I was working off of the ME3 soundtrack from my phone.  It's possible that the audio fidelity is higher on the MP3 version than on the YouTube video.  Or maybe I'm just crazy.

None of us condone his actions. You're saying he believes what he's saying while we're saying he's intentionally spouting bullsh*t. There may be half-truthes, but he is being dishonest.

No way :D

You can hear it ingame loud and clear right after the shuttle blows up. There is no scream in the soundtrack, not even remotely at 1.080p.

I agree. I believe I posted a wall of text on the subject a couple hundred pages ago on the subject. Basically, do to faulty logic the Catalyst believes he is in the right, but will say or do whatever it takes, including lie, to get Shepard to believe so too.

Often when I'm listening to combat tracks, say, Mordin's from ME2, I can "hear" him saying lines like "Employing incineration tech", or Tali's with her "saying" "Deploying combat drone", or with Miranda's her saying "Here it goes" and "One less!" in that cute way she does.

So you could think you're hearing the scream, but I'm not saying it isn't there.

Of course. E.g., the allegedly organic/synthetic problem is a lie. All cases of organics 'rebelling' against their creators are reaper induced.

Jesus.  How are you still not getting it?  Like 3 people have explained it in very simple terms.  Does someone have a picture of an anime character that's a lying bastard?  Maybe that'd work.  We could communicate in his native language.

It's the first part I disagree with. I don't think he believes the so called conflict he talks about exists, it's a total fabrication. The only truth to it is that some organics and synthetics fight sometimes, but that's it.

I didn't say that ;)

But if you compare the track to the ingame scene, the scream is loud and clear independant from the track.

Okay, I'd like to clarify something.  Not all cases of synthetic "rebellion" are Reaper induced.  To say that would be as much of a lie as what the Catalyst says.  There is one case of genuine synthetic rebellion.  That's the gambling AI on the Citadel.  There are also cases where the Reapers are not to blame, but rather, organics.  The quarians and the geth, for instance.  The geth only "rebelled" because the quarians tried to wipe them out.
