I do but I promised I wouldnt post one during Christmas. I get that you guys think every word out of his mouth is a lie, I really do even if its not showing well, but alternatively what better way to hide a lie than have it surrounded by some truth. Example: he flat out tells us he controlled TIM, which is a truth.

None of us condone his actions. You're saying he believes what he's saying while we're saying he's intentionally spouting bullsh*t. There may be half-truthes, but he is being dishonest.

Okay, I'd like to clarify something.  Not all cases of synthetic "rebellion" are Reaper induced.  To say that would be as much of a lie as what the Catalyst says.  There is one case of genuine synthetic rebellion.  That's the gambling AI on the Citadel.  There are also cases where the Reapers are not to blame, but rather, organics.  The quarians and the geth, for instance.  The geth only "rebelled" because the quarians tried to wipe them out.

True, I'd be silly to think no synthetic has attacked first, but that's not the point (Not directed at anyone, just stating it).

You are right, I wasn't specific enough. I don't count the geth/quarian conflict as a rebellion, but rather self-defense. And the A.I. on the citadell is just a single instance of an individual AI, not a race.

To be more correct: All known instances of entire synthetic races starting a war against organics are reaper induced.

I agree that's not the point, but as a student of Logic, I've learned that one must always have true premises to gain a true conclusion.

I didn't mean Dwailing's post wasn't the point, I meant one example of a synthetic rebelling does not equal all of them always doing it (like you just said).

Oh yeah, snow for the first time all year!!!

Regaurding the Catalyst telling the truth or lying, I would like to input somethings, the Catalyst blatantly lies and contradict himself. "The created will always rebel against their creators." Lie, the Quarians struck first and the Geth defended themselves. The events of the Geth attacking in ME1 have nothing to do with this as those Geth were heritics following Sovereign.

Sometimes he will tell you half- truths. "He (TIM) could never have taken control, because we already controlled him." That is true, TIM was indoctrinated/under Reaper influence. But immediately after that, says that Shepard can control the Reapers. Shepard was just controlled by TIM to shoot Anderson, so Shepard was effectively being controlled by the Reapers at that point. Based on that Shepard also could never have taken control.

Bottom line, most of what the Catalyst says are blatant lies and half-truths followed up by contradicting pieces of information.

Mine cant but it has a ringtone almost identical to the ME1 elevator theme so you are not alone.
Also,animehaters, your 35 hr reprieve from me has been extended to anywhere from 60-80 hrs depended on how long my friend is down.
