(If I remember correctly, this is because a good amount of geth were destroyed. This impacted their decision and made them "stupid" enough to go along with the reapers. Remember that geth fighter squadron mission? Their intelligence decreases the less units they have and the reapers completely took advantage of that when the quarians attacked.)
- The Geth are of the opinion that submission is preferable to extinction (Whether or not Legion agree with this is irrelevant when a significant majority of Geth programs have been rewritten by the Reapers - because they operate on consensus)
(See above. They literally lost the ability to make better judgements when they were attacked by the quarians)
- There are eerie similarities between the whole Zha'til and the
Geth/Quarian situation (Both organic races can't live on their homeworld
anymore and both enter a symbiotic relationship with Reaper-based AI)
- Legion suddenly no longer has any problems accepting the Reapers' gifts
- Legion withholds information from Shepard THREE times:
1. When not telling Shepard that (s)he's going to have to go into the consensus itself.
2. When not telling Shepard that he (Legion) is saving Geth programs from the consensus.
3. When not telling Shepard that he (Legion) still carries the Reaper upgrades.
Again: We can stop discussing this, we can agree to disagree, I just want it to be clear that I actually have good reasons for distrusting the Geth, and as far as themes go, I'm seeing a different theme.
