@mb I can't gotta go do some holiday errands.

Up in Alaska yall, happy holidays!

How'd you know where I live? ;):P Happy Holidays Everyone!!

Arian also lives in Alaska.  You two need to arrange a meeting at some point.  In my opinion, one of the coolest things that could ever happen, to me, anyway, would be meeting one you all in person.

Yeah...I don't know how that would work out. A 16 year old meeting an adult they met online. :pinched::lol:

Yeah about to be 30 on Dec 28. I can imagine this is how it turns out:

Agreed, any good soldier would shoot a friend in the back for trying to undo a genocide.

A good soldier would do what benefits his/her people most, be it to shoot a friend in the back or something else entirely. If Command tells you so, you do it.

Would never do something just because I was told. I guess I'd be a bad soldier. Posted Image

Ahh! I'll be on top next time!

Its why I'm not a soldier.  Despite having a real thing for military history and theory.

So, would that make you more of a Type One Lawful Good?  I tend to be closer to a Type Two, though I might try to be a bit closer to a Type Three in ME in the future.

Edit: You might also fall into the category of a Type Two Neutral Good or a Type One Lawful Neutral.  Having looked at all three, I'm thinking more Lawful Neutral, though I could be mistaken.

Huh.  There's thing you should probably look into sometime.  They called "The Nuremberg Trials."

Not what I meant. And the germans killing of the jews really didn't help anybody. Understand that a good soldier i one who follows the orders given by his/her commander. The "good" soldier has no say in it.

ALTERNATE ENDING - PART 3

A muzzle flashes in the distance and a bullet passes through Harbinger’s thrall’s head instantly killing it. More guns fire off their bullets as silhouettes appear in the darkness. A squad of soldiers moves forward towards the group of husks and kill dispatch them with deadly precision. As the soldiers start to spread out of their formation, one of the soldiers notices Shepard’s form lying in the rubble.

Soldier: “We got a live one here!!!”

As soldier picks his way through the rubble to Shepard, the others provide cover for their comrade. As Shepard loses consciousness from his injuries, the last thing he remembers is the soldier yelling for medics as the world turned black…

TO BE CONTINUED…

Here are the links for PART 1 and PART 2

Personally I'm either a type 1 Chaotic Good or a type 4 Chaotic Neutral.

Suffice to say, I'm far from Lawful by nature.

I know about The Nürnberger Prozesse. I'm not saying that these people that killed off the jews were good people and that it wasn't their own choice, because most, if not all of them, actually believed that what they were doing was right. They only said that they were following orders when everything came crashing down around them.

As such, I don't think anyone wants to be a "good" soldier, one, who's a mindless drone. Our morals and compassion for others are what makes us human. I myself don't even consider myself to be a "good" soldier.

If I'd have to pick, I'd say lawful neutral. I can't judge it by myself, though.

I believe that law and order are necessary, but I am more concerned with saving lives that upholding the law.  Looking again, I'm starting to think I would fall into the category of Type 2 Neutral Good as well.  I guess it depends on how just I feel the law is.  Given that, I'm really starting to think Neutral Good.

Yes. I agree. I don't really want to talk about the military and what it does anyway. I do that more than enough on duty and with estebanus.

Hey, it's not all that heavy yet.  And this chat about alignments is interesting.

Edit: But yeah, we probably should stop.  We have other things to talk about.  Like alignments. :P
