Just caught up from six hours ago.

So, would that make you more of a Type One Lawful Good? I tend to be closer to a Type Two, though I might try to be a bit closer to a Type Three in ME in the future.

I couldn't quite place myself until I found this: I'm definitely Good Is Not Soft! Maybe I should change my avatar to Garrus Posted Image

Well, I just got finished with a WONDERFUL chat about the endings with Megumi. You all (Rifneno aside, I know you'll hate her no matter what I say) should really listen more to what she says. She's a lot of fun to talk to. Just give her a chance, you know? We talk about openness, it's time we start living up to our promises.

You are really sugar coating how this all got started. You generalize us while minimizing her part in all of it.

Some of these issues...

All you ever need to know about synthesis:

Shepard: "Reapers are machines, why they need humans at all?"
EDI: "Incorrect. Reapers are sapient constructs, a hybrid of organic and inorganic material."
EDI: "Exact construction methods are unclear but it seems probable that the Reapers have absorbed the essence of the species, utilizing it in their reproduction process."

And regarding the word 'construct', remember what "Child" says when you question what "Child" really is?

Yup. You can stop even considering synthesis at all whatsoever after hearing that - which should be before you even hear about synthesis at all. Posted Image

Holy crap you blew my mind! Posted Image

"Reapers are sapient constructs."

"I am a construct." *Proceeds to mock Shepard for calling him an AI*

Is the word "construct" ever used anywhere else?

 Saw this on a literal video about why IT was bad. I thought it fit IT to a T instead of what they were saying about a demo of non-bad writing

Characters:

Chekov = Shepard
The Melkotions = the Reapers
Spock = the enlightened player Byne
Kirk and McCoy = the rest of us
Setting = decision chambers

Dude that's awesome! It's like the original Matrix.

i know and the saddest part was it was in a video from a guy trying to show why IT is not the correct interpretation for bad writing. Worse he ripped the acavyos vid gave credit and was basically doing it like an analysis o the acavyos vid lol

Well, I have to go. I was hoping to release a special announcement as a Christmas gift but that will have to wait. Just consider it a late Christmas gift when I do.

Funny, every Egg Nog I have seen is alcoholic, and I have never heard that Egg Nog is normally non-alcoholic!

Well, you learn something new every day!

That was the straw that made me unsub him.  He had the answer to his questions, he knew the argument, he agreed with the argument...

And then says IT is wrong and stupid anyway.

Un-****ing-believable dishonesty.

That scene with Spock fits the premise of an indoctrination hallucination perfectly - if you know its false, and you know you can't trust what you can see, you can fight it and maybe break free from it (though how how long its impossible to tell) and you need complete conviction and willpower.

Wasn't he also the one who made the argument that if too much information is played over each other then it makes no sense, therefore the argument is wrong or incoherent?  Ignoring that if you played every passage from Grey's Antomy recited by the same person at the same time it would also make no sense?  Or that if something requires too much questions then it must be wrong, ignoring that's how human minds and science works?

URGH.  Pseudo-intellectuals.

Merry christmas to everyone. Long time no see (a very long time indeed)

I hope this does not get burried in traffic, since i might have stumbled upon something here.

Does anyone happen to have a screenshot of me 3's main menu (the one with the crucible projecteed in a war room)?

I think by now it should be clear that this is not the normandy's war room (projector differs). But i believe this is actually the war room of a cerberus vessel. Why? There is a single person standing right next to the crucible projection and he/she is wearing the cerberus crew uniform..(the one with the distinct white patterns on grey trousers and shirts). Alliance uniforms are distinctively different and i have only seen similar uniforms on cerberus personnel.
