Well if it isn't just a completely stupid mistake by bioware it (in my opinion) implies that cerberus are either building their own version...or that...well i don't know. I've been playing mass effect 2 lately and have watched the suveillance vids on the shadow broker ship. Why was anderson meting a cerberus guy on the presidium? I don't know..maybe the alliance is still majorly inbolved with cerberus..it was an alliance black ops project after all.

Javik: And this is where your species first mated with varren.
Shepard: Now I know you're full of it.
Javik: What do you think pyjaks are?
----------
Vega: So why do krogan have four balls?
Javik: They only have four? I have six. How many do you have?
Vega: Uh...
Javik: Primitives.

God, the Javik comics are awesome. How did these not become the meme instead of that marauder shields stupidity?

Yeah that could make sense. As far as Anderson, someone once suggested he was checking in on project lazarus.

thanks skill. you do realise that actually this could open an even bigger can of worms. tim says cerberus is humanity. he said it. jeez. it was there all along. you were fighting against humanity.

But i'll be honest with you. I'm not very good when it comes to interpretations. That's why most of time i'm just lurking around the IT threads and only post things when i believe i might have discivered something new or interesting. Then i leave to people with greater imagination and or/ "detective" skills to figure out what it could be about.

Merry christmas to everyone. Long time no see (a very long time indeed)

I hope this does not get burried in traffic, since i might have stumbled upon something here.

Does anyone happen to have a screenshot of me 3's main menu (the one with the crucible projecteed in a war room)?

I think by now it should be clear that this is not the normandy's war room (projector differs). But i believe this is actually the war room of a cerberus vessel. Why? There is a single person standing right next to the crucible projection and he/she is wearing the cerberus crew uniform..(the one with the distinct white patterns on grey trousers and shirts). Alliance uniforms are distinctively different and i have only seen similar uniforms on cerberus personnel.

if you go back a few dozen pages you can find that link of the sounds in the room. It will have the room there you're talking about. If I have time I'll see if I can do a screen shot.

So compare the menu sounds with the breath scene sound.  Breath Scene sound starts 8 seconds into it.  Menu sounds occur at 4 seconds, 22 seconds, 55 seconds, 1:21, and 1:43.  There's a few more but they're rather faint

Like I said earlier, play the menu sounds and let it roll, then play the breath scene sound and listen to them together, you'll hear they are similar in sound.  Plus you'll need really good headphones at a loud enough volume to hear the background menu sounds.  They don't sound like much on speakers.

I can recommend a good set Posted ImagePosted Image

Like I said the other day I didn't notice it because I wasn't using headphones till I got these and have been using them when all of a sudden yesterday after I finished my mp bouts I was like WTF OMG!

the menu sounds for the vid of the screenshot you're talking about

@skillz. Know what's interesting no one ever notices the person because he/she is obscured by the galaxy map

While it's an interesting find, it's probably because the background of the menu was made from an early build of the game. The menu would probably have been done early, and I know I've seen some early screenshots/videos where Shepard was wearing the ME2 casual.

On another note, something I've always wanted to know: the ME2 menu is Kelly's station, but where is the ME3 menu located in the War Room?

Oh and Sam Hulick left this as christmas present ! I like it, now speculate what the title means ("The Dark Corners of Space")

In the txt file included in the zip archive it says 2011. So...yeah....

Lots of speculation for everyone? If it gets used in the new DLC, that date is very interesting, and the title fits nicely with one of those leaked DLCs, can someone find the list?

EDIT: Having listened to it (and liking it) it's a lot like the Mars themes in terms of style, and that was based on the style of the ME1 exploring tracks, like Liara's World, so that fits well with the name. There's also an ominous feel to the track as well, a kind of subtle uneasiness, as well as elements of both the main theme and Spectre theme throughout the track.

As i've said..this is not the normandy's war room...the projector is a different one (or whatever the thing in the center is called). It lools different at least. The projector in the normandy does not have that "shield" thing surroumding the projected image, as does this one. hope you kmow what i mean.    edit: refering to your question where the me3 menu would be located in the normandy's war room.

You could be onto something, but I just like to make sure we consider everything Posted Image The Press Start screen in ME2 was the Collector Base and the black hole past the Omega-4 relay, so it's not like they haven't that before Posted Image

From: Admiral Steven Hackett
Re: Operation PROPHECY
Confidentiality classification: XB-PRIME
Distribution: N7 Forces Only

Soldiers of the Milky Way –

As operation PROPHECY comes to a close, I want you to know you have succeeded. This is not only important for our human soldiers who are seeing the devastation on our homeworld but also for our allies. Earth remains the symbol of what we can accomplish and what we cannot accomplish – yet.

PROPHECY managed to give the resistance a necessary shot in the arm. We improved communications between the disparate forces; we delivered ships and armored vehicles to help even the odds; and most importantly, we kept hope alive where there would otherwise be none.

The loss of life on our homeworlds makes it easy to believe that this moment is the end of the world or the end of the galaxy, but I cannot believe that. Since time was first recorded, there have been thousands of supposed prophets telling myths about when the end will come, and they have all been proven wrong. We will make it through this, too… but it will be a fight to get there.

Good work.

–Admiral Hackett
