Have a new threat invade the Galaxy? You would need some enormous leaps of logic for the combined galaxy and the Reapers to not just curb stomp any invasion force as the Reapers have perfected their tehcnology across millions of years. And how would a Destroy ending deal with a threat so massive it threatens a Reaper empowered Galaxy?

I've actually been more interested in planning how daily life will work under me. Not necessarily future game ideas (as I believe that rebooting the universe is the best option for future games), but just wondering how the politics will work, how ordinary life will change and how it may not, etc.

Motherf*****, my team just received some serious snuggling from what I think were 3 Banshees, 3 or 4 Brutes and a few couple of Ravagers in that spawning place on Firebase Reactor.

Every member was pushed into a corner of their own and got a nice treatment.

Team got a good laugh though.^^

Exactly.  In-game Javik is a racist sullen ******.  Comic Javik is awesome: kicking Leng in the jewels, throwing Allers out the airlock, trolling the VS, ect.

I like to imagine that in-game Javik does all of that when Shepard isnt looking.

They missed a trick with Javik.  Towards the end he shows a little growth and respect towards non-Protheans, but it comes too late.  He's supposed to be the Sten of the game - and doesn't quite get there in my opinion.  They really needed less auto-dialogue with him, and more investigation dialogue where you can ask him about his past and the Protheans in general.

Not to mention they really needed to have a return to Illos, where Javik can have a humbling moment  as he sees what became of his people, and yet also sees what they managed to achieve with their last breath.

You know, character development.  Everyone else gets some!

So here's something to speculate. I think that the next dlc, if it is the rumored Citadel dlc, will explain why exactly the Reapers are using the Citadel in their harvest of humans.

I figure that the Reapers planned to move the Citadel to Earth from as early as halfway through the game (or whenever it was that Anderson said the Reapers were "planning something big in London.") Now if this is indeed the case, the Reapers will have probably planned to bring the Citadel to Earth to utilize in their harvest but the key question "Why?" has yet to have a clear answer.

One possibility is that the Citadel is a Collector base-like structure, and has similar Reaper building equipment on board. (Also interesting to note, the Keepers and Collectors are both similar to bugs.) If the Citadel is a Reaper-nursery similar to the CB, then we have a good reason why Cerberus would want access to it.

Cerberus now becomes an even more interesting pawn. If they gained control of the Citadel, the Reapers could have them move the station to Earth on their command (assuming TIM was completely indoctrinated by now.) TIM would be baited to the station through the promise of learning how to build and control a Reaper. Such a lure could very well be TIM's motivation for getting access to the station but, in reality, the Cerberus Coup was a Reaper ploy to make sure everything was in place for when they were ready to build a Human Reaper.

Regardless of any speculations, we KNOW the Citadel is at its core a giant Mass Relay.  Its safe to assume it serves other purposes as well, even if its to transport ships and material back into dark space.

There's also one reason for the Reapers not seizing the Citadel right from the getgo.  It would instantly unite the galaxy.  However, it would also instantly cut off the entire galaxy.  So its a shakey reason.

But yeah, speculation is all we have.

You know I have been thinking what if the Coup on the Citadle was for Cerberus to.
1. Take over the Citadle, and weaken the galactic power/ everything.
2.fresh new test subjects for their experiments.
3. Leak the info about Catalyst early, so that Shepard doesn't go to the Citadle.
4. Find out that the Citadle is the Catalyst.
5. Cerberus wait's for Shepard, and the Normandy to come on the Citadle/ spring the trap.
Maybe the Reapers would have been inside the Citadle to surprise Shepard, or take on the fleets, of Shepard brought them along.

Yet Cerberus couldn't take over the Citadle, so Reapers went to plan B.
1.TIM is ordered to send Leng to Thessia, and make sure plan B is ready to go.
2. TIM then is ordered to get plan B, and make sure Shepard follows TIM's on purpose open trail so the Reapers can attack the Citadle/ prepare for the main event.
3. Once Shepard finds out about  the Citadle, then Shepard has to go to Earth.
4.Well you know the rest.

What I want to know is how did the Reapers take the Citadel?

I mean Cerberus almost did, but they planned it for months so we are lead to believe. Yet the Reapers just come and take the Citadel before the people on the Citadel can close the Citadel.

Is it possible that well of course their are Indoctrinated agents on the Citadel, but how many?
I mean it would take at least 50-200 indoctrinated agents to take over the section to open/ close the citadel, but they would have to go through the Citadel defense force that we can build up. Yet no the CDF does nothing,

LOL. Just watched a bit of this hour long documentary.

"I feel like I did nothing. Why did I invest 50 hours to do nothing?"

"No. Why did we invest 3 games/5 years just to do nothing in the end?"

So sad.

If you "love" the possibilities of anything bar destroy (even that is pushing it) you are mental imo

That's why Synthesis is called "Harmony of Man and Machine" by the devs. So you basically just called them mental.

Can you take that stick out from up your arse please?

Are they going to call it "Wrong Choice 1", "Saren's Plan", "Indoctrination 1" or something...giving it away. That is what is "we see in the ending" - Doesn't rule out anything to do with IT. You're very depressing to listen to

WTF? I started another playthrough and I was in Vancouver pretty much taking in the sights. I can't get enough of those shots of the capital ships. The sheer scope of them is just incredible. Anyway, I was watching that capital ship closest to where you gain control after getting knocked out, right and I noticed something. The damn thing is following me. After I moved far enough away to get Anderson to stfu about my slacking off, I look back and it's taking a few steps toward me. It pretty much keeps up until you go through the building and such.

It could just be for sake of scripting. The same capital ship blows out the committee building, and then takes out the husk building. Still, creepy as hell having a capital ship stalking you.

i stared reading the first book, and you got to admire how good the translation to series was.
Yet the book has more backstory and scenes that couldn´t be translated because of TV money limitations, anyway read it, from waht i have read is pretty good
