Isn't that the information from Kejis greybox? The one that could start a war?

But that was never revealed. And it was said that it could start a war if the Council got wind of it. What does the Council have to do with Alliance-Hegemony relations?

Not to mention it would have happened months beforehand.

I would be interested in what it was that was happening though.

According to the wiki it only says the batarians might go to war with the alliance if the info was made public and it would hurt the Alliances reputation, the council isn't mentioned

But then again I've heard rumors that wikis aren't the most reliable source for information ;)

Despite initially claiming that the film would have an original story featuring Commander Shepard[3], Legendary Pictures are now stating that the film's plot will be an adaptation of the first game's story, centering on Commander Shepard's journey.[4]

While the game allowed the player to make certain choices as Commander Shepard that affected the plot, including the Commander's gender, this will not be possible in the film medium. As such, the film's writer will be choosing a path that "...best supports the narrative of the movie and the motivations of its characters", while the Commander Shepard of the film will be a male.[4]

Uh... when/where/why/how?

News in ME2. Balak tells you about it in ME3. Some mentions about that in leviathan, + it is mentioned in the codex.

Also another common argument I see is that Shepard can only be shown to have long-term indoctrination symptoms, and that IT suggests it all suddenly 'speeds up'.

Well, look at many long term illnesses. They can progress very slowly, over years, barely noticed. Then suddenly they flare up, have rapid symptoms and then kill you. Since indoctrination is a biological effect on the brain, it makes some sort of sense that long term effects would slowly change the way the brain thinks, and then when it reaches a certain stage it will then have sudden and dramatic effects as control is taken from the victim.

Not to mention certain conditions can accellerate conditions. Like, I don't know, having the oldest and largest Reaper who's been taking personal interest in Shepard for the last two years show up in person, landing only a few hundred meters away?

Good point, and considering Shep's got a pretty strong resolve up until the final moments (he/she seemed to feel the effects of so much war) it could have led to Shep losing his resolve which in turn could have made the Indoctrination process that much quicker? Kind of like you explained it, with a weakened immune system sicknesses are more likely to spread faster and become worse quicker than normal. And if you throw in your last paragraph into the mix, it would make a lot of sense. :)

If this happened, I think it would be the best move Bioware could make. I would definintely shell out cash for this... oh how I wish this DLC came out. <3

I wonder ... if you could actually play as your LI, would that even be on the table if this happened? opinions?

No Kasumi DLC? Shame on you!

The info is about an alliance black ops team raiding a batarian research facility where they studied the Leviathan of Dis (the Reaper corpse). Keiji says that if the council got that info, the Alliance would be in trouble. That's the part we're questioning: What does the council have to do with human-batarian relationships? And shouldn't the batarians get into trouble for withholding Reaper intel?

Here's the mission with Kasumi in ME3

I'd imagine that after Humanity was been accepted as a full Council race following ME1, being then implicated in an unprovoked attack on the Batarian Hedgemony could to lead to all manner of uncomfortable questions.

As for an Alliance "black ops" team raiding the Batarians - is that not how Cerberus were referred to in ME1? Would explain Cerberus' Reaper intel... and why the Alliance never sees the Leviathan data...
