Wow this Carnifex vs. Predator is really interesting. Really interesting. Wow if more people could even entertain the idea of IT then Bioware's reputation wouldn't be continually tarnished.

IT is pretty much the reason why I stopped being angry at Bioware.

Though they still make me angry, for other reasons.  But I'm not raging anymore.

We all have our qualms but anger gets us nowhere. IT is really interesting and if it is true then Bioware did our beloved game series proud. For now I choose to not entertain the idea that IT is false. I like happiness and sanity in my life again.Posted Image

That's actually one of the main barriers for IT. People think Bioware sucks because they think the ending sucks, and then say IT couldn't be true because Bioware sucks. The other thing needed for IT is an understanding of the themes and messages of the series.

Knowing the themes and paying attention to the story makes it possible to understand IT, while belief that Bioware could pull off such a thing makes it possible to think that IT could be true.

Well its obvious why people like Starbinger - they are fond of circular logic and falacious arguments already ^_^

Sad thing is, people who've not played ME3 are often more taken with the concepts IT has.  I've had quite a number of discussions with my friends about twist endings, and how subtle some games and movies can be.  And when I mention Mass Effect, they agree that such an ending would be pretty awesome.

Bad work needs to be recognized as bad work.

Sure.  When the work actually is bad.

Which this isn't.

So no.

Perhaps in your opinion, but a lot of people recognize it as been bad.
It won bad awards.

It is however irrelevant if you choose to see it as bad or not as negative views are worth more than positive views.

It also won a lot more good awards.

But that's irrelivent too, I suspect?  Funny that.  Run along now.

I just had a crazy (And I mean most likely legitimately crazy.) idea.  We know that the Mu Relay, the relay that takes us to Ilos in ME1, was knocked out of its original position by a supernova, or at least, something with the force of a supernova.  And we know from Arrival that relays explode with the force of a supernova.  I wonder if there's some kind of connection.  Yeah, I'll admit this is HIGHLY unlikely, but it popped into my head and I felt like sharing.

It is irrelevant.
Such is the way of life for our species, one big f**k up and you're finished.
Bioware made many mistakes in the last years that built up, now it is their legacy.

It is not something I would change.

Not really. The fact that you literally said that a lot of people view it is a bad game is exactly what the link was intending on pointing out.

Lemme me guess. You just recently learned how to use 'irrelevant' in a sentence and was itching to try it out.

Btw what I was getting at is that the official guide even seems to reference the saving of Anderson as air quotsie.

Right, that is interesting. "Saving" Anderson makes so little sense in a literal view it's astounding. 1000 EMS for delaying his death 2 minutes? They only way it makes sense is if you view EMS as Effective Mental Strength.

Anderson is Shepard's "good" side in the trio. Which is also why it's better to have TIM kill himself. TIM, the indoctrinated part of Shepard, realizes it is wrong and destroys itself. It is the exact same principle as "saving" Anderson. It's better to have him "bleed out" than to be executed by the indoctrinated side of you.

The poster took wording from a post and acted like it was  intended to represent a majority, such as words like "most" and ofcourse "majority"
Implying I said it was true because of that.
I did not, this poster should know better.

But I had a laugh anyway.

"Your view doesnt line up with mine it's irrelevant."

Fine, if you want to be like that, who cares what your view is anyway? I sure don't if you have that attitude. Show some respect and maybe you won't get labeled as a troll. The first post you made here was about how this thread is delusional, well you must like being delusional then if you keep coming back. "Irrelevant"

We all know who I'm referring too.

Yes, yes! It all makes so much sense and is beyond awesome! I mean I could have been making a mountain out of a mole hill there but my gutt says otherwise. Hey here is an interesting question for everyone: did you consider IT (or even know of it) before your first run through of ME3? I personally only heard about it after and after viewing evidence and taking it down to its thematic levels I really and truly think that it was biowares intention.

But no, Synthesis, the solution advertised as the "final evolution of life" has absolutely nothing to do with the Ginat AI Spaceships comprimsed of Organic and Synthetic material claiming to be the perfection of life.
