I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the number of mistakes and plain old bad writing there is in Deception.

Yeah, THIS is bad writing. Take note, literalists.

Where did Andersons Predator come from anyway? Right before the beam run he holds up a Carnifex clearly for us to see. Yet it is a Predator TIM takes from him. Might obviusly be a back up weapon, but still curious.

Also if you **** up so much that Wrex comes to kill you on the Citadel, guess which weapon you take him out with should you choose to do it yourself.

Exactly!

Carnifex for the lose!

The only case of not Canifex for the lose seems to be killing Legion. Though why I cant quite comprehend.

do you mean when Tali shoots legion?

Doing the little side mission on Sanctum now. Have to pick up Reaper artifacts being studied by Cerberus.

Garrus: "Must be Reaper tech. My brain's hurting just (looking at it)." Unfortunately, Cortez cuts off Garrus before he can complete the sentence. Nevertheless, it is amusing.

I would say laughing while crying is the only way to read the real book.  Laughing until you cry is the best way to read the rage comic.  And I agree.  No matter how bad ME3 may get (And I don't think it ever really got bad until the endings, and we've found the answer so... yeah), it's no where NEAR as bad as Deception.  That book has the "honor" of being the worst book I've ever read part of (I haven't read the whole book, but I read the sample).

this might be a really dumb question and/or something that's already been covered, but in what context were these images released? was it via the masseffect website? was it just a random official release of images?

The temperature -128.5˚ Fahrenheit

Freezing point of Heptane (close to anyway). From wikipedia:

"In the grease spot test, heptane is used to dissolve the oil spot to show the previous presence of organic compounds on a stained paper. This is done by shaking the stained paper in a heptane solution for about half a minute."

Huh, that could be a reference to how Shepard is "disolving" Reaper influence.  Or something.  And since we're spitballing, the atomic weight of iron could be a reference to Shepard's iron will.  Or something, again.

Digging deeper. Could be heptane coordination to iron.

Keep in mind that Legion did not upload reaper code to the geth. Someone else could explain it better, but it's like reading a book (reaper code) and taking out the pages we want and using them. Legion took what he wanted from the code, but he made his own.

Illusive Man also took what he wanted from the Reapers, made his own.

You are placing a great deal of trust on a platform that has made lies of omission several times, and has shown capabilities for manipulation. Not to mention Legion's other incarnations Geth VI and "We are not Legion" shouldn't be disregarded from the equation.

I'm not saying that choosing to forge the peace between two species is necessarily a wrong move. But it may have ramifications you haven't considered. Just like curing the genophage isn't a one-sided affair.

I used that quote expecting someone to retort to it. TIM didn't take what he wanted and make it his own. He thought he did, but he was indoctrinated.

Even if these steps are correct, we should examine the other three as well. It might not be as simple as just a color.

What was the cover of the album in question?

The song and the cover all in one video.  It's a pretty good song, too.

London calling to the faraway towns
Now war is declared, and battle come down
London calling to the underworld
Come out of the cupboard, you boys and girls
London calling, now don't look to us
Phoney Beatlemania has bitten the dust
London calling, see we ain't got no swing
'Cept for the ring of that truncheon thing

[Chorus 1:]
The ice age is coming, the sun's zooming in
Meltdown expected, the wheat is growing thin
Engines stop running, but I have no fear
'Cause London is drowning, and I live by the river

London calling to the imitation zone
Forget it, brother, you can go it alone
London calling to the zombies of death
Quit holding out, and draw another breath
London calling, and I don't wanna shout
But while we were talking, I saw you nodding out
London calling, see we ain't got no high
Except for that one with the yellowy eyes

[Chorus 2: x2]
The ice age is coming, the sun's zooming in
Engines stop running, the wheat is growing thin
A nuclear error, but I have no fear
'Cause London is drowning, and I live by the river

Now get this

London calling, yes, I was there, too
An' you know what they said? Well, some of it was true!
London calling at the top of the dial
After all this, won't you give me a smile?
London calling

I never felt so much alike [fading] alike alike alike

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wow. Those lyrics.

Cover: London in red letters, calling in green. What is calling from the London?

Well, the guy DOES have a point.  Odds are we WOULDN'T be here without the Reapers.  That doesn't mean what they did was right, or that we should show them any mercy, it just means that enough thousands if not millions of races have been EXTERMINATED that we ended up existing.  Doesn't change my opinion of the Reapers at all.

Very first line - calling the Catalyst a force of nature.  Completely incorrect.

The rest of the post is basically apologetics for the Reapers.

Also, the Reapers had nothing to do with the evolution of Human life.  Humans would still likely exist without having Mass Effect technology.  And they'd also not be a target of the Reaper's sadistic little game.
