Regarding Operation OLYMPUS: So what challenge is this supposed to be? One we are supposed to be successful or fail?

Also don't you think it's interesting that they named the operation to the greek mythology? Isn't Cerberus supposed to be filled with that? Hmmm....more pointing towards London and Cerberus. Just one more connection to add to the pile.

1- Cerberus shuttle shard/logo next to Thanix missiles.
2- Cerberus shuttle drops Shepard off at FOB.
3- Operation name is related to Greek - Greek mythology is present in Cerberus (names) - thus London is indirectly related to Cerberus...

Interesting.... :?

I'm pretty sure I remember a lot of mortals reaching tragic ends whenever they tried to make it to Mount Olympus. That's um.. that's a bit foreboding.. Okay, I'm not going to be surprised if we fail.

we may fail, but the Resistance will get the info on what the Reapers are doing in London.

Hey guys I have a wild outside-the-box theory, I believe the resistance in Operation Olympus is going to find a conduit beam that runs to the citadel.  Did I just blow your mind?

No thought of that already, but good try Otter. But maybe the others didn't think about that.

Uh that's weird, why does ME1 support cloud on Origin while ME2 does not?

Yeah, kinda like the IXT thread.

Oh and Hanar, I watched that video you posted the other day, and I actually enjoyed it. Thanks.

Can I just say I'm very pleased with how my "Nobody will trust the catalyst" thread is turning out:

I also found it a little odd that Javik was covered in red blood. Not sure what color prothean blood is, but I'm guessing not human red. From what I saw, though, all the other squad mates in the different variations were covered in red blood, so maybe it isn't their own. Couldn't tell what color it was on Garrus, though.

If his blood's derived from Iron, or some other red element (such as Cadmium) there's no reason at all why his blood should be red.

It's why Mr. Spock's blood is green, it's derived from copper, Iron oxyidizes and turns red, copper turns green. If his blood was derived from say, cobalt, his blood would be blue.

We also figured out at one point how Javik's "homeopathy" likely works. (coulda used a codex entry tho...)

I was just thinking from a simpler mode of thought in that sci-fi aliens usually don't have red blood. I guess that isn't always the case, though. I don't guess ME2 showed any collector blood or anything. Of course, since they were heavily genetically modified, that may have not been good evidence in any case.

Liara's blood in that scene is dark purple/blue

Red blood on blue skin would probably look purple. Sorry if you guys have already been through all this. I don't get on here a lot and the IT threads aren't the easiest to search through with the 4000+ pages and all. What about the beam? Did you guys ever discuss and come to any conclusions on what made Anderson and everybody think they could 'ride' the beam to the Citadel in the first place?

In LotSB you can see Asari blood is blue/purple.

Ah, I completely forgot about that. Gracias. So is it pretty much accepted that Javik does indeed have red blood?

That seems to be the case. Though it can just be they didn't want to create another blood material and just went with the red one :P

Or how about this:

1. Currently, in real-life, there is the Olympics 2012 happening in London, big event, lots of hype.

2. In honor of the Olympics 2012 in London, BioWare decided to do a MP event based in London, the event named Olympus, based on the London Olympics 2012.

Makes a lot more sense, doesn't it?
