To accurately summarize my connection to IT: I was always accepting of it as a form for people to use to like the ending but supported Synthesis, then like I said, through this place and anime, I was slowly converted to being an ITer, but with the added bonus of still loving the literal endings if they turn out to be literal. That's why I wanted it as a Christmas gift to the IT thread, showing that they turned a Synthesiser to an Iter, but I was unable to complete my tribute in time so it came today instead.paxxton wrote...

I just realized, if Sam Hullick is doing the music for the new DLC, and if it IS something IT related, possibly even an epilogue, then we might just get something that calls back to the Suicide Mission theme, if not an actual remix of the Suicide Mission theme itself. I don't know if I could take so much awesome in one concentrated package.
Edit: My head could actually explode from the awesome.
Hate to burst your bubble, but Suicide Mission is a Jack Wall composition. I've been thinking of it as well, but I guess it can't happen unless Jack Wall returns for this.
Well. Shoot.

The unthinkable was achieved! A literalist synthesizer supports IT!
Now all that's left for you to do is to pick destroy.

Oh come on Byne. Now's not the time to let a little thing like ending interpretations get in the way. He's just trying to get us to vote for ME3 for GOTY.
Edit: Even if he doesn't like it, he knows we do, and is trying to appeal to us in a way we understand. Cut him some slack.

That's ridiculously close.
Strange that of all games, ME3 is put against Far Cry 3. A game with an ending that most players didn't get, riddled with hallucination and symbolism, that the creator passive-aggressively defended from critism.

It just seems rather condescending to me. Or its like he thought "If I invoke IT, I can get these guys to do whatever I tell them to do!"

----------
Shepard: Even if what you say is true, the Geth want to fight the Reapers as much as we do.
Javik: Did you ever consider the Geth may be trying to get rid of the competition? With the Reapers gone, the galaxy would be theirs for the taking.
------------------------------
Councilor Tevos: Whether you know it or not, you have become the sole ray of light in a very dark night. Goddess be with you.
----------
Javik: This is what happens when you allow machines to think for you... you become slaves.
----------
Joker (about going to Eden Prime with Nihlus in ME1): I told you that mission was going to be bigger than we thought.
Shepard: I think we can mark that prediction down as accurate.
Joker: And now we're heading back to Earth.
Shepard: Is this mission going to be bigger than we thought too?
Joker: I hope not. A routine delivery run would be fine with me.
----------
Shepard (to Jack, FOB): I'll see you on the other side.
Kasumi (to Shepard, FOB): If you live through it, drinks are on me.
Jacob (to Shepard, FOB): There's this great little bar in Rio we have to check out.
Shepard: I'll hold you to it.
Shepard (to Miranda, FOB): This isn't goodbye. You have to believe we're not done yet.
Vega (to Shepard, FOB): So I guess this is it, no? One more push... one last fight.
Shepard: Not necessarily our last.
Wrex (FOB): Today we win our future!
Javik (to Shepard, FOB): The future is still out there. It is something my people could never say: There will be a tomorrow.
Shepard: Only if we win today.

To me, that's a lot of things telling me that the war isn't over. That this isn't our last fight.
There's much more than this in the game, this is just the FOB stuff. Just played Priority Earth, hence these quotes. (Plus a few others I had written down earlier, but hadn't posted yet.)
