Ya i meant the actual series of books that I've been trying to write for probably 10 years now lol. I suppose for this story in particular I've been working on it for four years, but it seems like a long time when all you've written so far is the prologue. lolBansheeOwnage wrote...

Saw this yesterday DD. Pure awesome. Saved the picture.
Javik is the awesomest when it comes to IT foreshadowing and hints. That is actually one of his quotes.
Javik is awesome, because he's this racist, fascist, elitist bastard, but at the same time, for all his ugly traits, he has this incredible experience that no one else in this cycle has lived through.
Javik is who he is for a good reason. He knows the true horrors of the Reapers in their most gruesome forms. He is the only one who truly understands what needs to be done. There is only ONE way to beat the Reapers, by fighting, being ruthless, and hardening ourselves to loss and preparing ourselves for sacrifices. Javik is a wake up call.
His message is not a sympathetic one, and therefore easily disregarded, but it just so happens that the most disliked squad mate has the most important things to teach you.
That isn't to say you must completely adopt his attitude, no. But as far as dealing with the Reapers goes, there can be no compromise, no single moment of weakness. Just pure resolve.
Javik also is the only character who echoes Shepard's "We fight, or we die!" if you take him on the last push towards the beam (he says it in the transport, I think).
Javik: I sense you have the lineage of a leader. A warrior's skill and cunning--they are strong in your genes. But you've grown tired of war, you're exhausted by defeat, and now you worry you don't have the courage left to go on. Find your resolve. This war can end if you do.
Liara: What if we're too late? My people are dying down there.
Javik: Your empathy is a weakness. You must numb yourself to loss.
Shepard: Benezia took you to this temple?
Liara: I was just a child. I thought it was a history lesson. But now? Maybe there was more to it.
Shepard: What do you mean?
Liara: I went digging through her old files. She had heavily encrypted records
on this place, some dating back centuries. I still can't crack most of
them. Whatever's going on, it's well hidden.
Javik: I've studied your old mission reports. Your mother was indoctrinated.
Liara: Yes. We had to kill her.
Javik: Yet it did not stop you from fighting. As I said, steel yourself. Many more lives will be lost.
Shepard (renegade): I know it's difficult, Liara, but he's right. You could spend all day counting casualties.
Javik: When you should be avenging them.
Liara: I'm sorry, I can't be that callous.
Javik: (long pause) War doesn't always provide you a choice.
Javik: This is what happens when you allow machines to think for you... you become slaves.

Renegade shep's dialogue is just focused. Shepard doesn't worry about the past, fallen comrades, casualties, she just thinks like a soldier, with a singular purpose.
Paragon Shep constantly worries who she'll lose, doesn't feel well, doesn't have a lot of confidence to win, seems way more doubtful about things.
I really feel like the game is set up to indoctrinate players who play mostly or purely paragon.
The difference is really noticeable. Paragon Shep is the most out of character, renegade Shep is her usual confident self.

You're completely right, and I can tell you the exact moment that started. Arrival. When we got to talking with Harbinger at the end, the paragon response is all sissy nonsense. "Sure, maybe you're right and we have no chance... but we're gonna try anyway, I guess..." Renegade response is honey badger levels of aggressive and tells him that Shepard'll blow up half the galaxy if he needs to in order to beat the Reapers. None of those "woe is me, maybe we really can't win" garbage. It's straight teeth-to-balls.

Um killing all your friends is way out of character. i know Wrex can die in ME1 by you hands, but in ME3 you lie to him in his face.
Shepard: Why would I beatray you Wrex?
Then you kill Wrex.
