Heard things about 48fps, and the special effects looked cheap and false in that speed, so sticking to the clssic 24fps

Cause of my super awesome headphones it creeps me out more.  What I hear them say is:  Shepard at 1:15
and a bunch of breathing all over in the first bit

Nothing in the second bit that I can hear but wind howling

a mechanical buzz sound briefly just before the kid laugh

a kid laugh at 3:04 which continues a few times then goes into a weird manical laugh followed by a mechanical manical laugh for the rest of it including at the time you mention.  It sounds like a Geth, a Reaper, and a transformer being fused together and transforming

The last bit from 4 to the end sounds like flames crackling

Edit - I really don't know how loud these actually are because my headphones seem to pick up all sorts of cool stuff in the background, like that thing in the menu that people can't really hear the headphones pull it out loud and clear as a bell and integrate it with everything else playing (unless I have other sounds turned off)

You could install Windows in a virtual machine on a Mac though.

but... but... nah, dont really use computers that much aside from Facebook and Youtube, and still have to share it with my family, so would not have much time playing as i like, so consoles for me

Ditto for me too.  Well page 3,000 was more exciting than the end of the world.  We survied the end of a calendar and reached page 3,000 all in the same year.  Now I'm looking forward to this:  Approaching comet may outshine the moon

There's actually 2.  One in March and one at the end of 2013.

Do you think I should buy an xbox just for Halo and Gears of War?
These two are the only exclusives I can think of that I want to play. What is you rating on these IP's overall (guess I know the answer for Halo)?

Well Lex0r11 I went to PS3 after my 360 red ring of death on my a year after I brought, I will tell you I strongly considered a 360 again for Full Mass Effect Trilogy(Before ME1 announced on PS3) Fable 3, Halo 4. But I after MET and ME1 to PS3 happen I lost considerable interest in getting a 360. In my 360 lifetime I enjoyed Gears of War 1 and 2, Halo 3, The Force Unleashed, Fable 2, Mass Effect 1, but despite my fun and joy with the exclusives I cant bear another RROD. My 360 was the original models so that maybe the reason for my dislike for a 360 not too sure on the newer 360's but I heard they still have the lifespan of whenever they wanna RROD. From what I know of the RROD that can happen as soon as you open the console and turn it on to lasting 5 years plus if your lucky.

Put that to short a 360 wouldnt be smart and not at this point in this gen's console span, if you wanna go Xbox id wait until the newer one comes out thats better than the 360. I am sure they will be displaying the power of Xbox720 and PS4 at E3 2013. In later mans terms a 360 is soon to be behind the times.

Bit late but Gears of War is okay story. The MP is fun, but not many people play anymore I don't think (at least on AU servers)... Halo is good and has devoted devs to number 4.

I'd say if you can get the entire halo franchise and gow games both for the stories, then do it. Halo has a pretty rich setting, explored more intimately in the novels...
And gears 4 (judgement) is just around the corner too... Though i think it's going to be the Gears of Duty: Judgement Warfare 4. So I might even pass...

I'm counting the days for this generation of consoles to die (or at least, Xbox 360). Not because I hate them par say, but because companies have a hardon for multi-platform releases, and it always ends up screwing PC's over.

By the time the PS4 and 720 are out I'll be able to afford a new PC to keep up. I hope. I know right now my PC is about as powerful as a PS3, and with a minor graphics card upgrade I'll surpass it. If graphics mattered at all, which they mostly don't (so long as they are functional and not vomit-inducing).

And seriously, why no Red Dead Redemption on PC? Why, Rockstar, why?
