Another piece of evidence that should at least lead people to wrinkle an eyebrow, Shepard was close to a reaper artifact (bloom thing I can't remember it's official purpose, well rather than indoctrination) and they think that it didn't cause any kind of indoctrination. Well Rayna that worked with Saren didn't even show any symptoms until thee (two years and some odd months,) And that is documented in the mail you receive in game not speculation even. Not to mention the people that were indoctrinated when on the derelict reaper. That wasn't even functioning! So yeah Shep is indoctrinated! He/she isn't immune to indoctrination. Nothing is. There more speculation.

Really fun watching new people finding things that have already been discussed. Brings back memories. And yes LP, those are part of the lore that forms ITs bedrock. In universe evidence that explains why Shepard being subjected to indoctrination is not only possible, but probable. So much content though that it's always good to rehash. Not everyone came at the same time and there's plenty to forget.

I normally find myself at parties wishing I was back in my bed playing the xbox, surfing the web or reading some comics.

Exactly. Screwing up is obviously bad PR - but isn't it worse PR to effectively mislead people? It will hurt them in the end.

No, actually. Because simply saying it's a valid theory doesn't mean it's correct, which means they aren't leading anyone along at all. Plus, if they just say "yea it's a valid theory" then they'll probably be hoping that if it doesn't ocme true, enough time would have passed that people wont be as upset if nothing happens.

I'm 28 and don't party anymore. Too much work, recovering is getting harder, and I've already wasted what feels like a lifetime on that stuff. When I do find time, it's small groups only these days.

I know that the evidence I stated was already part of the archived evidence but with little new evidence to show maybe we should dissect the old. I know I am technically a neophyte in IT but I am trying to help bring other people over to our ideology with more than a it looks right mentality. It is common to go over every aspect of a case countless times to familiarize oneself with it. That is why these past few days I have devoted my time to trying to help on this thread. I know I have goofed around a lot but I am unable to be in a good position to acquire data right now but that will be remedied in a few days then I will be trying to help until it either gets confirmed via Bioware or they move on and I have exhausted my research so if I restate it is out of passion and a need to understand all the facets of IT. Sorry that was kind of long but darnit that is how I feel!

I never claimed it proved IT. But they've shot down so many other things, and this thread wants them to deny it if it needs denying. I still think it's false hope.

You seem to be getting awfully close to just coming out and saying that Bioware only allows IT because they think we're all babies who cant handle the truth and will riot if Bioware denies IT. I thought you were better than that, Jade.

Or maybe I'm just reading too much into what you're saying because I dont feel too well. Who knows.

Sorry, I never meant that they were proving it, but they arne't leading anyone along..

The same could be said about PT because no BW staff has commented on it. But I don't see it that way. Way I see it, every interpretation is valid. Until proven otherwise.

My good sir maam, if IT was proven to be false, I wouldn’t rage. I don’t think the majority of the people in this thread would either.

The pro-IT zealots, who would be the most likely to rage, don’t actually seem to hang out in here, strangely enough, so if you're trying to speak to them, you're in the wrong place.

I also don’t think the majority of us would stop purchasing BioWare products either, as we enjoyed the majority of ME3, and just don’t like the endings.

Not at all. I'd be disappointed, sure, but not angry.

Edit:  I was trying to decide whether or not to include that post Banshee, but I was too lazy to go get it. :D

As do I. Don't have a great connection with my family outside of my mother, father and sister. I'd rather be playing Xbox, listening to music (or both, AT THE SAME DAMN TIME) than attend the family gatherings.

Ha! I ninja'd your own answer Byne! But it's pretty much the same for me too. I would be disappointed and confused as hell, but probably not angry. At least not in the true sense. It's hard to say if it would be better or worse now or 6 months before though.

But what I'm getting at is.. Where would you turn your gaze to afterwards? Would you adopt another theory, or just accept the crappy ending? Because I know a lot of you have said that if the IT wasn't true, then these endings are the worst endings in the history of gaming.

That holds true for me. I would use it as my headcanon for sure. And I'd get MEHEM for PC. I would have to see what they were doing for ME4 before deciding to get it or not.

If IT was false, and they flat out denied it, I'd just accept the fact that Bioware ****ed up the endings royally, and move on.

Because if meant to be taken literally, the endings are nothing short of abominations that completely miss everything good about the series and try far too hard to be thought provoking and artsy instead of actually being good.
