That would be an interesting twist.  Kahje, home of the talking jellyfish, turns out to be a repository of valuable information on the Crucible.  Fehl Prime could also be an interesting place to visit.  If it is going to be site of a mission, I bet it would be a mission where James would be a required squadmate.

Interesting. Wait, which squadmates have required missions in ME3?

EDI - Chronos

Liara - Thessia

Tali - Rannoch

Ash/Kaidan - Mars? Kind of?

Garrus - Menae? Half of it.

Javik - None actually. Strange.

James - Menae I guess.

Well so far of the list there are only two places of possibilities. Fehl Prime (which suggests a first planet or second planet (since Eden Prime was a 2nd planet strangely enough) which will be in the Paragon Lost video and Kahje the Hanar homeworld.

Kahje is also dotted with Prothean ruins, which has shaped the religion and society of the hanar. Mount Vassla, an underwater volcano, is at the heart of one of the largest Prothean ruins. The winners of the religious events of the hanar holiday of Nyahir (or "First Cresting Bloom") are inscribed in bioluminescence on the sides of the mountain for a year afterward.

We've never been there and there's no location for it yet. It could be Kahje is Tranbir 9?

It could be Fehl Prime, though the thing is Fehl Prime is the star of Paragon Lost and that means we likely won't really see it in game.

Check this out by the way Summary of Paragon Lost almost all written within the character Treeya

Sorry been practicing on my formatting. Earlier last November people
on here wanted me to not have one big long wall of text, so I have been
cutting the text. But I think I am cutting them to soon.:crying:

I still think that the comment about security protocols being overwritten is more than just a throw-away comment.  Looking at it more closely really makes you wonder.

Indeed it does. Wow. Everyone is kind of irritable right now. It's New Years! Cheer up thread!

You dont cut them off just randomly in the middle of a sentence. Thats silly. They probly meant to break up your posts into paragraphs or something.

With Javik I would say Eden Prime since that's where he was found so in order to have him as a squad you're required to go to Eden Prime

EDIT - Oh and I would add both James and EDI for Leviathan Bryson's lab since we were forced to take both

Aria is for Omega

Shepard is for Despoinia since he goes in alone, probably the only real mission where he's alone most of the time and is required to be

Edit 2 Posted Image'd byne just not on the James thing

James is required for Menae. Even if you already went and got Javik, you cant take him. Has to be James and Liara.

You do realized I wrote that right? But I noticed there is no real reason for it though.

@CMDRSHEP Javik is not required for Eden Prime. The mission is required to get him, but not vice versa.
@Pax Happy New Year buddy. But I still have 15 minutes to go!

Wow, I just discovered something awesome. Not only does Radeon Pro now offer SMAA, FXAA, and SweetFX as options, it ALSO has Dynamic VSync, which is basically the equivalent of Nvidia's Adaptive VSync. OK, screw Physx, I'm getting an AMD card for my next GPU.

Edit: Plus, Nvidia's Sparse Grid SSAA can (I'm assuming, correct me if I'm wrong) be approximated by using SSAA with the Narrow-Tent filter, and as for TXAA, I can get the same effect by using the Wide-Tent filter.

Tis why I italicized the 'is.' I was reaffirming what you said, since you seemed sort of unsure.

I took a slightly different approach as well.  I went to the local Contra Dance group's party they were doing (Google "Contra Dance" if you want to see what that entails.  Also note that I am a much better dancer than Shepard, though I think a rock might be a better dancer than Shepard. :P)

Amazing find on the beacon! I always thought it was odd that it had a VI interface when prothean beacons have never worked that way before. This find really leads credence to the possibility that Kai Leng was sent to place it as a red herring to draw Shepard away from the real beacon.

Of course, the bad writing crowd will just say they forgot how beacons work.

@Byne Yeah. I mean you have to take him, but it's not like he's necessary I.E. Tali on Rannoch.

OK new year.  new look at the codex.

Reaper "indoctrination" is an insidious means of corrupting organic minds, "reprogramming" the brain through physical and psychological conditioning using electromagnetic fields, infrasonic and ultrasonic noise, and other subliminal methods. (hey....the Normandy?) The Reaper's resulting control over the limbic system leaves the victim highly susceptible to its suggestions.

Organics undergoing indoctrination may complain of headaches (liara - ME1) and buzzing or ringing in their ears. As time passes, they have feelings of "being watched" and hallucinations of "ghostly" presences. (shepard at the beginning of ME3 sees the kid outside..the kid when he reaches the shuttle turns and looks at shepard...eye contact...he is watching him) Ultimately, the Reaper gains the ability to use the victim's body to amplify its signals, manifesting as "alien" voices in the mind. (do shepards cybernetics make a humming noise?)

Indoctrination can create perfect deep cover agents. (Hackett) A Reaper's "suggestions" can manipulate victims into betraying friends, trusting enemies, or viewing the Reaper itself with superstitious awe. Should a Reaper subvert a well-placed political or military leader, the resulting chaos can bring down nations.  (Hackett, Shepard, Anderson, etc....)

Long-term physical effects of the manipulation are unsustainable,(shepard was reconstructed-thus making him more durable) Higher mental functioning decays(dreams) ultimately leaving the victim a gibbering animal. Rapid indoctrination is possible, but causes this decay in days or weeks. Slow, patient indoctrination allows the thrall to last for months or years (the dreams are a slow progression...eventually Shepard will lose his mind)

THIS^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^! Shepard at the end is thinking about the brat's suggestions, on what it says alone. Who so happens to be the LEADER of the REAPERS!

That's the thing, because Javik recognizes the computer as one of his people's computers, I don't think TIM would have had the time and resources to go out and find a defunct computer, restore it fill it with propaganda and plant it inside of the beacon (since that's where it seems to orgiinate from) and do this all just to trick Shepard on Thessia.

Then again, he did spend exhorbant amounts of money just to reserrect Shepard.
