Amazing find on the beacon! I always thought it was odd that it had a VI interface when prothean beacons have never worked that way before. This find really leads credence to the possibility that Kai Leng was sent to place it as a red herring to draw Shepard away from the real beacon.
Of course, the bad writing crowd will just say they forgot how beacons work.
That's the thing, because Javik recognizes the computer as one of his people's computers, I don't think TIM would have had the time and resources to go out and find a defunct computer, restore it fill it with propaganda and plant it inside of the beacon (since that's where it seems to orgiinate from) and do this all just to trick Shepard on Thessia.
Then again, he did spend exhorbant amounts of money just to reserrect Shepard.
Also Vendetta did not say which group of Protheans it was created from. All it told us was that his being is based of his creator ( An Indoctrinated agent maybe?), and a group of Protheans that wanted to sabatoge the crucible/ use it to gain control of the Reapers.

Cerberus was already present on Eden Prime. They could have dug up the VI from his flashback and altered it a bit.
True, yet very unlikly. Heck if they did, then why didn't they not kill Javik?

you could argue that actually that includes so much more than the final chat with our tiny friend. although i wouldn't trust the kid as far as i could kick it, others (based on various threads on this forum) in some way - try to justify the choices. there is no justification for accepting reaper logic.
Thats why i'm anti-choice. I do in a way believe IT is happening..but then again i reject his choices.. because i can still see that actually.....everything the kid says is absolute rubbish. He doesnt give any choices apart from the choices he prefers.
Why would you trust anything he says?
(ignore the colour shows at the end.....)

Indoctrination is an insidious means of corrupting organic minds.
Struggle if you wish your mind will be mine.
They're controlling you.
Controlling me is a lot different than controlling a Reaper
TIM was right. Yes, but he could never have taken control because we already controlled him
They're controlling you.
etc. etc.

The sad part is people will believe it and probably choose control instead of synthesis

Javik would be another asset TIM could use. He also conveniently provides Shepard with a confirmation that the VI is prothean.
I agree it's unlikely, but it is a possibility.

Except Destroy. You forget the brat lied about Destroy killing Shepard. There is no reason what so ever why Bioware would have the Catalyst randomly say to Shepard if he/she will pick Destroy " Even you are partly Synthetic." So in truth if you refused the brat, then you lose your chance at waking up. Think about it it's a mind game. Sometimes you have to give into your enemys way of thinking, and when the time is right spring the trap. Shepard picking Destroy is not a bad choice. i already said there are trillions of lives, maybe billions now that are dying because of the brat. What is another 2000_1 million more to die to end this war.
We have fought Indoctrinated agents/ troops who could have been good people. Is it right that we killed innocent Geth, Collectors, and Cerberus Troops that were once innocent people. That includes the Reaper troops as well. yet we kill them.
And if you want to get more into this..... If people are really saying that the organics that made the Reaper alive, are all alive in that one Reaper, then well guess what people we have killed 5-9 Reapers through out ME1-ME3, and that means all those " people" inside the Reaper. So if you want to talk about killing innocent's, then well you have already done so.

It's because it's part of Shepard's psyche. The hallucination is in reaper-induced, but is in Shepard's head. Certain aspects must be present. Also, if Shepard went in wanting to destroy, the option must exist.dorktainian wrote...

I agree. However we have no context (yet) regarding shepard ;waking up'. Until we do should we assume he is alive, but in no position to affect anything afterwards (he is buried in rubble). It may well be the best of the three choices in reality...but because we have no more information or no clarification as to what has actually happened...we are still left scratching out heads wondering. Bear in mind also that it is a reapers 'choice' and although it may appear to be a 'good choice' it may be exactly the thing you want to avoid.masster blaster wrote...

Possible. Though that VI was named Victory. I suppose they could have altered it. It is supposedly the VI-memory of the Crucible's overseer. Wouldn't the Asari have found/taken the VI if it wasn't planted?Hrothdane wrote...

If it is, then it's a stupid one because Shepard wakes ip. I personally think that's Shepard's hold that he/she has. it's the only thing keeping him/her from being fully Indoctrianted. And yes they suck, but until Bioware says other wise we speculate.
