Hanar I did, but I find it funny that he says you are more like us than we thought, for paragon, and for Renegade your better of making your own future.
I find Legion a hypocrite (when Shepard is renegade).
First of all, using the tools provided to us to forge our future is exactly that: forging our own future. So why be against using the tech provided to us by others and use that tech to our benefits? If we didn't use the prothean database on Mars we would still be stuck on earth.
I also find it incredibly ironic that although Legion seems to be against using the Collector base for it's tech, he does insist on using the reaper code to upgrade his own species. Hypocrite much?

@ Emiya_Archer : If you really want to listen to something he likes, I would recommend Lateralus from a progressive rock band called Tool. If fact I strongly recommend it.
I know a couple of Tool songs.
But i was just stating that someone at Bioware could know the song from Wintersun.

I really hate going off-topic, but power metal is kinda my thing....
Melodic death / extreme power is a very thin line. Wintersun definitely leans towards the extreme power side because of the double bass drumming, lack of blast beats, musical themes, and bombastic style. It only gets called melodic death because Jarl screams sometimes.
Euhm, death metal basically lives on double-bass drumming. I don't know any death metal band that doesn't use double-bass drums.
It is true that Wintersun has some power metal elements to it, but they still sound a lot like Jari's previous band: Ensifrum, which is a folk metal band first and foremost (with melodic black metal influences).
So I'd say Wintersun is folk metal with power and melo-death influences.
I should also mention that iTunes seems to suggest Wintersun to fans of Blind Guardian.
Heh, I didn't know that. Maybe Mike Gamble does listen to Wintersun after all?
On a personal note, Blind Guardian is my favorite band as well, so Mike Gamble just suddenly became 10x more awesome in my mind.
I'm not into power metal all that much. Death metal and doom metal are more my thing. Black metal too. My favorite band of all time is Fleshgod Apocalypse.

What I want to know is how the hell did the alliance get the Collector base, and you would think they will have to go through Omega, and the Cerberus fleet, but they got the base.
No they don't. Where did you get that idea from? Cerberus is the only faction that has its hands on tech from the Collector base.

On an IT related post, estebanus and I are going on solutions to the Reaper threat using the Crucible. (not the ones already but a new one that could make conventional victory possible) Here was estebanus's idea. I say it wouldn't work but I wanted your guys opinions/ideas on it.
"Basically, the crucible scrambles the reapers' IFFs and cuts off their long-range communication. This would mean that the reapers's ground forces would be neutralized and they wouldn't be able to see the difference between friend and foe, meaning they'd end up attacking each other. This would make a conventional victory possible, since the reapers would be so disorganized and weakened from killing each other, that the fleets actually are strong enough to kill the reapers."
This part of it I agree could work. The next however I believe wouldn't make it be anywhere effective.
" it is only effective within a very small radius, which means it must be brought near the reapers for it to amplify its signals."
What about the reapers mentally? Remember each reaper is a nation and has millions/billions of minds in goo form, maybe if those minds suddenly gain individuality, that might mess with the reapers... it'd be as if every neuron in a human brain suddenly declares independence from the rest of the body, the body would not be able to function, could the same happen to reapers? Could the crucible do that?
Also, that's their ground troups, but what about the capital ships?
Cutting long range comm isn't going to make the ships destroy eachother. Otherwise the term 'long range communication' doesn't really fit here. In my head long range comm means comm over lightyears, maybe even QEC.
I believe it was for everything. Capital ships and ground troops. I am also led to believe it knocked out all reaper communication, at least for a while. My point was that it would be ineffective cause to affect anything the Reapers would have to be in the same system as it. So all they had to do is go somewhere else.
Anyone else have anything wrong with the idea for the alternative use of the Crucible? Any other viable ideas?

ADam it I thought somebody was going to say you get the base, oh well. But I find it funny that we have a Reaper brain, um what the hell is this for. I can see the heart as a power source, but the brain no idea what it's for.
The brain is basically the organic equilivant of a processor, to put it bluntly (they are different, but they share some similarities). So yeah, it could be used as a giant processor. Besides that, a reaper brain could be used for all sorts of things. For example, examining it, trying to find out what makes the reapers tic and use that to program the Crucible to target the reapers.

Whichever engineer thought it would be a good idea to incorporate a Reaper heart/brain into the design of the Crucible is a freakin moron.
The Crucible was finished when we assaulted Cerberus HQ. Why add more parts? Especially Reaper parts?

Quick off-topic moment here:
I find brains and our lack of understanding over their inner workings absolutely fascinating.
I saw your post and felt compelled to post this photo:

^That is my brain.
No, really
I find it strange that something so organic (not even symmetrical) is capable of so much...
