So, I just purchased Deus Ex: Invisible War today, though I'd started it previously when I borrowed if from one of my cousins. I think I'm going to enjoy it, though I'm inclined to think I'll agree with people who don't think it's as good as the original.

That would be Liara during that ending.

That was cold, but just saying.

I find that picture to be somewhat...disturbing. Those Banshees need to put clothes on now that they are part of the community. Also, why are those babies not glowing green?

I don't hate the concept of Synthesis.  Transhumanism is awesome, as my love of Deus Ex shows.  However, I really, REALLY hate how it's used in the ending.

Dwailing of yesterday: I'm playing DA:O today! I've never finished it before, but this time I definitely will!

Dwailing of today: I just bought a new game!

I like Synthesis. That pic is a bit exaggerated though.

I think I should clarify, I like the idea, but everything else about it sickens me, especially the forced nature if it. I had a thread on it a while back,

I only played Human Revolution. The previous parts never got me interested to the point of actually trying them out. Maybe I'll play remakes if there are any.

We all know the destroy ending is the best ending, right?

Aside from Synthesis being indoctrination (from my viewpoint), the glowing green eyes thing was a bit weird for me.

This picture isn't opinion, it just demonstrates what Synthesis is as presented in a game that is known to portray reality not as a fairytale.

I mean, people don't mind the stuff in the "Little Blue Children" thread...and this is what can happen after 'helping bring life to the final stage of evolution', right?

Pictures of car crashes are also part of reality if you are a fan of vehicles. If you decide to ignore them and only see the romantic side of driving a car then you are not taking it serious enough.
And I think that choosing the fate of all life in the galaxy has at least as much impact as driving a car.

My issues with the Synthesis ending are deep rooted and many.

It is the equivalent of solving gun crime by cutting off everyone's hands.

Nono, you should give credit to mrs.N7 for the idea. I would've missed it.

Also, this idea was from.. Arashi08.

Besides the forces nature of it, my main issue with synthesis is that I don't think the Catalyst's "problem" exists.  But this is the wrong thread to go into the intricacies if the catalyst's "logic"
