Yeah, that's right. I didn't even started telling all my favourite jokes, that cause him to loose it - like the one where TIM is actually a reaper, or that GLYPH is the intelligence created by the leviathans, and that QEC are all tied into reapers as proxy's... ))

*grabs dem by the air and drags him toward the airlock*

Where exactly is a person's air and how do you grab them by it?

Can we at least talk about it?? :)   Think about it - you'll miss me!  I'm the only one here both sane enough to make funny abusive jokes, and stay cohesive and coherent, AND crazy enough to make some wild specualtions and move the thread forwards. :D

did anderson survive the initial reaper attack on earth? As i said yesterday (i think) he was right next to shepard when it all went boom. Yet he is seen when shep regains conciousness standing there like nowt had happened. Sheps re-enforced body took a right hit, yet anderson.....not a scratch...seriously?

To be fair, prior to EC, there's no way Shepard survived Harbinger's beam either.  It cut to white right before impact, but there is NO way that beam didn't char-broil him.

Well the armour in the breath scene is fairly broiled. Remember Shepard survives a similar blast at the beginning of the game. We just need Anderson to help Shepard up.

Only badgers know how to do that, and badgers never reveal their secrets.

Sure sure, make fun of the typo.  You're just jealous because all you've got up there is tentacles.

It's not Glyph anyway. I keep telling you guys, the shifty looking cow is the intelligence.

Shifty looking cow is great bet.

But it is also might be Boo The Hamster.

There was an episode of Futurama, where they briefly speak about it.  (season 6, that Darn Catz)  - he's real name is Obliteron

Can we still discount that the actual Shadow Broker is Conrad Verner?

Funny that you mention Conrad Verner.

Conrad Verner is THE most Fourth Wall breaking thing in the entire Mass Effect universe.

You see - Conrad Verner - is the mirror. It is a imager of US, the player, as seen by the DEVS and the writers. Not US - the playaer who are commander shepard, but ACTUAL US the player, who sit at home, and plays Mass Effect because we want to expirience adventure and be commander Shepard.

Conrad Verner does exactly what most of us do.
He wants to be a hero, promote humanity, then he get's matters in his own hands, while searching all the crates for credits and upgrades, then he get's duped into helping cerburus, he repaets the same question several times THEN HE STARTS TO BECOME USEFULL  - by provideing data, and THEN he foolishly plunges himsefl to a certain death to save someone from death, with complete disregard for his own life and safety - and THEN HE GETS SAVED by something you've done waaay back into the first game - and only if you've done it right.  - if it isn't the most complete and short summary of entire Mass Effect Trilogy WITH IT-ending  - i don't know what is.

Theres even a moment in ME3 when Conrad implies he has a dialogue wheel. He asks Shepard the same question twice in a row, then says he likes to ask all the questions he can think of, and sometimes forgets which ones he's asked.

Wow Dem you're right. I mean, I always thought he was 4th wall breaking, but that is an excellent summary.

Exactly my point. Conrad Verner - is US - the larger portion of US the player base - who don't really think much about what they do and in this sense are blind and naive, while bigger things are happening.

hackett received confirmation shepard had reached the citadel.  Who would know anything happening on the Citadel?   Cerberus.  How would hackett know?  Cerberus.

re-watch the final dialoge with him - "conrad, why did you do that?" ))))

there you have perfect forshadowing of the IT reveal. If Conrad Verner can have a happy ending - Shepard sure can and will have it too.

Son of a bosh'tet!   Remember that little bit of faith in humanity I mentioned I had regained?  I just lost it again: http://www.gamespot....g-games-6401982

Edit: I agree with one guy, "So what is next book burning?"

And what i find even more fitting is that only a completionist will get everything out of Conrad. Beside his survival beeing based on a ME1 decision, his asset also scales with the number of Matriarch writings from ME1 you found, up to 10. Getting those means you explored just about everything in ME1.

Good point. Way back, when lair of the shadow broker was released there was a theory that Hackett is the real head of cerberus. Even before Arrival.

I actually think that cerberus is in fact a triumvirate - just like the name suggests.
Omega DLC supports this version heavily.  Petrovsky also seem to represent cerberus, but he doesn't seem to be in anyway conserned or simpathetic to what the Illusive man is doing - He basicly screams with all he does - the Illusive Man is not the boss of me.

That is why i think that there is MUCH more to cerberus that we know.

After all we do know that it started out as A SPLINTER BLACK OPS military group that went rouge. So - at one point they were very closely integrated into the alliance at the very top of the ranks - CIA level in fact.

them going rouge is like entire CIA suddenly deciding that they don't really want to answer to anyone, and they know how to do things best.

And the Key word here is actually MILITARY. Jack Harper was NEVER a military man. Not career military.

I think of him as of the person that controls cerberus R&D branch. (And yes, he is also a reaper. :P)
