Billions of people on Earth believe in the devil(me included), even though there isn't a single piece of evidence for him existing.

What if that myth was started because of the reaper?

It's almost as convenient as the Crucible plans being fully intact even though the Reapers are famous for cleansing the galaxy of anything that references them.
Reaper1: Allright, we finished wiping out the Protheans on Mars, but we found data for a superweapon that can wipe us out. What do you want us to do with it.
Reaper2: Just leave it, it's not like anybody will find it.
Reaper1: But isn't the planet next door going to have a spacefaring species by next cycle?
Reaper2: I'm sure they'll never even look here with the gift relay we left in this system. Just leave it.

Yeah, right...

LOL.

Thanks. First time doing a joke dialogue.

Liara (of course) magically discovering this moments after the reapers arrive is just a plot contrivance, nothing more.  I like how TIM calls this out in his conversation.

She knew before the invasion, I think.

She arrived there before the invasion.  I'm not sure when she actually finds the blueprints.

i scream set up.  isnt it wonderful how tim (cerberus have app... not been there long) has a QEC pad located right next to the artifact?  is it a fluke liara has the information - and KNOWS its a weapon?  then again she states this, but doesnt say who's weapon it is.

Actually Kai Leng carried that little drone that serves as a portable QEC. Oleg uses the same thing on Omega when you're shutting down the reactor. Other than that though, I agree.

Edit: Top five times today.

Leng had a portable one, but the one on Mars was a regular pad-based one.

Oh, I thought he was talking about Thessia, not Mars. I guess it could be explained as a simple communication pad as well as QEC, like the one on the Normandy.

@masster I mentioned yesterday that if you look closely you can see Shepard go tithe beacon and begin to activate it, Liara tells Shepard to hurry but is cut off cause of Vendetta's appearance. The beacon itself was never activated.

@masster - did Mordin really say that and he really gave a weapon? Which was it? The predator?

Mordin never said that, but I believe masster is referring to the fact that you kill Mordin in ME3 with a Carnifex, which is the same weapon he gave you in ME2 as a token of good faith.

Im guessing that was just a nod to ME2.  You can't even get the Carnifex at that point in game right? (Non-ME3 import)

we were talking at one point about the symbolism of the carnifex vs the predator. The predator represented freedom from indoctrination and the carnifex I think it was representing bad things (someone has the right word)

Betrayal is a good word I guess. You kill Wrex with it (in ME3) and Mordin, and Saren shoots Nihlus with it.

Lol looks like I missed that. Ya I couldn't find it either and wasn't going to replay a whole game just for one scene (at least not right now since I'm waiting for dlc so I found the Javik on thessia vid from yesterday and used the scene there for it.
By the way my future self welcomes your past self which my past self shared to you lol

but as far as the story tells us, cerberus has literally just got there.  coincidently information from the prothean beacon makes itself available.  tim is apparently overseeing everything happening in that chamber? tim has that picture of harbinger - the one shep had despite the fact harbie was in darkspace and nobody would have any idea what he looked like.

Lol. When you do do another playthrough and get to that scene, can you take a picture that's more the size of other pictures? I'm not complaining, just that the one I currently have is too big compared to the otherwise quite uniform photos. You don't habve too if you don't want, and either way thank you so much.Posted Image

Cerberus literally just got there in a combat role.  Eva had been undercover there for a matter of weeks I believe.

I said I agree, it's a set up. I was just giving an alternate reason for the communication pad being planted by instead suggesting that it belongs to the Aliance and Cerberus hacked into the comm lines for their purposes.

@demersel and others - I couldn't find this conviently but this was the closest thing. Spock was quoting Sherlock Holmes when he said:"If you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains–however improbable–must be the truth.[/i]"- Spock[/b], quoting Sherlock Holmes

Therefore take IT and stick it with this quote you get IT being true

i destroyed it..... and saw it burn.  also why would harbie leave a mugshot for anyone to find?  the collectors didn't need it as he could just control them.  in fact how did the normandy get back from there without a linking relay?  oh dear god...my brain hurts,     Posted Image

There has to be a linking relay somewhere. That's how they work.

EDi was extracting files and transmitting them to Cerberus while SM was taking place since you are still loyal to Cerberus at the time. Those files included data on Harbinger since he was in the systems as the possessed Collector General(you see the Harbinger hologram when he is leaving the Collectors to their demise)
Normandy is capable of FTL travel. The only dangerous part of the galactic core is a ship drifts a few megameters after using a relay, which in the galactic core is deadly.

The IFF was meant to help with that by stopping the relay from throwing them to far, thus kicking there drift in earlier so the appear in the safe zone.

And anyway who said there wasn't a linking relay? The collector ships did come and go as they please through the Omega 4 relay. Just because we didn't see it doesn't mean it wasn't there. You got to account for the drift like what's his face said. You don't come out the relay right next to it.

They didn't leave information at the Collector Base. Harbinger and EDI were both connected to the computer sysyem, so EDI got data from Harbinger, like his schematics, and Harbinger probably got information from her, like Cerberus' goals to which Harbinger "offered his assistance".
