Confirmation would put a lot of minds at ease.
But this wont make anyone going around now saying it's fact be anymore right than those that respect it's still just one of many interpretations. Because at the end of the day, these people still didn't know anything more than those who treated the theory as an interpretation.
Also, people tend to differ in their definition of the word "theory". But to me, stating the IT as fact is simply wrong. This is how I see it:
That Shepard sees black oily shadows in his dreams is a fact.
That Shepard is having headaches during the TIM/Anderson convo is a fact.
That the Carnifex changes into a Predator in Destroy is a fact.
That Shepard is on his knees in scenes where he's either having a hallucination or standing in front of Reaper technology is a fact.
That Shepard is being indoctrinated by the Reapers is not a fact. And neither is IT.
No, it has a lot of evidence behind it. Proof is undeniable.

he says that the reapers are our salvation - he does not say the reapers are the threat.

And that evidence/proof itself is undeniable, we're saying the same thing two different ways.

science dictates that for every action, there must be an equal and opposite reaction...yes?
If you have the reapers...a powerful race of god like synthetic leviathan hybrids, then who or what is their opposite?
Are they the real threat? Are the reapers quitening down the galaxy to avoid it drawing the attention of something far more terrible? they wait in darkspace. Do they wait there as lookouts maybe? The Leviathans are in hiding. We assume they are hiding from the reapers. Yet they still say the harvest will continue.
Hang on.. i'll be back. just gonna rip apart some dialogue and analyse it.

If you're talking about the Leviathan of Dis. I don't think that proves anything.

It was. But I agree with Rose, I think they had come up with the Leviathans long ago.

We never did find out why Haelstrom's sun was ageing so quickly.
Maybe there's some even more powerful force out there, that's inimical to all other life, and the Catalyst made some sort of Faustian pact with it?
The Catalyst would suppress life in the Milky Way by periodically harvesting it, and preventing any one species evolving to the point where it could rival this other force. In return this other entity or species would refrain from completely obliterating all life, including the Reapers, by making every star in the galaxy go nova?
Haestrom's accelerated aging could have been a warning that the dark force was getting impatient with this delayed cycle.

No I mean I think they had an idea of the creators of the reapers since day one I don't think they made the leviathans up so quickly in that amount of time during me2 and 3

I'd rather not. I'd like for us to get rid of the Reapers and that be the end of it, everyone lives happily ever after.

There wasn't meant to be any Leviathans in the Dark Energy plot.

I have a new theory. What if the Reapers are really the apex of evolution from the Andromeda Galaxy that had the same problem and chose synthesis. Then after the synthesis continued and "evolved" organics and synthetics of that galaxy chose to unite and become Reapers. Now they travel from galaxy to galaxy breeding and expanding what they believe is the pinnacle of life?
Sounds silly
